It may not be $40k but it will still have to be much cheaper than the Q60 RS at $57k.i think the rumored 400hp for less than $40k was a little exaggerated. its probably the 300hp version that will start out in the mid to high $30k. iirc A70 said $50k. i'm assuming that will be the more powerful version.
they just need to hurry up already!I wonder how Toyota will respond
They really to throw tradition out the window. This is just another reason to use the V35a thus taking control of their own car. This gives Europe a ~400hp model and allows Toyota to tune the car for ~500hp without incredibly limited supply. Of course I would take an inline 6 over v6 any day but I would much prefer having the opportunity to own a 500hp v6 Supra over a 500hp inline 6 Supra thats practically impossible to get your hands on.they just need to hurry up already!

Which ever way you cut it the Z is probably still going to be the better buy.i think the rumored 400hp for less than $40k was a little exaggerated. its probably the 300hp version that will start out in the mid to high $30k. iirc A70 said $50k. i'm assuming that will be the more powerful version.
Honestly, I think Toyota should just drop their plans for the 4 banger U.S. model. With a detune Z you get an extra 2 cylinders, another 45hp, MT, and best of all no fake vents. Toyota should have taken Nissan's approach. They should have kept the B58C as the base model with less options and priced it mid $40's.It may not be $40k but it will still have to be much cheaper than the Q60 RS at $57k.
Also, a 400hp Z blows away a 335hp Supra on paper in regions that donāt get the 382hp Supra. And a 300hp Z blows away a 4 cylinder Supra. I wonder how Toyota will respond
It looks pretty accurate compared to the teaser.Agree to disagree on Front & sides they're nothing special and carbon copies of 370z and Fiat 124.. but speculation as it's a rendering
And the 300hp Z will have way more overhead when tuning. If a Nismo Z comes out, the Supra has no chanceWhich ever way you cut it the Z is probably still going to be the better buy.

I believe this is just a small part of their hail mary ā12 step planā to prevent bankruptcy. Most of the work for this new car is already done, it just need new sheet metal and interior since the VR30 has been swapped into the FM platform. Is Nissan even going to be able to pull this off financially? Infiniti sales are crap, most of Nissan cars seem like crap too especially with CVTs. Are they the company that made fake shifting CVTs or am I confusing them with someone else.
Interesting. More fun cars = more better, so I wish them the best.I believe this is just a small part of their hail mary ā12 step planā to prevent bankruptcy.
