SO... I'm just past 1000 miles and was kind of researching tuning possibilities. My objective is to utilize a OTS map so I was thinking about going with MHD (BM3 is my second choice) . I'm sort of weary because I have a 21 so I know there are quite a bit of engine changes. Does anybody know if the initial maps are compatible with a 21'? I'm also keeping in mind that my DME may need to be bench unlocked. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!

Unless they say specifically for '21 I would stay far away. I just checked MHD and it says 2019+. I would contact a tuner such as Twisted Tuning and get a proper tune.

Yeah, looks like i'll be going another avenue. Thanks for the reply!

Lately, i've been hearing Marin's name throughout many A90 youtube videos

I would go ecutek. I made the mistake and bought MHD for OTS and regret it. Also, nobody really tunes for MHD on the a90
Looks like i'm going Ecutek then haha

Do you mind sharing what specific issues you had with MHD? Was there a solution? Just like the OP I am also considering MHD and BM3. I read pretty much all positive reviews with MHD so that was the way I was gonna go eventually.

With Ecutek, my newb understanding was that they didn't have any OTS maps and everything was custom (which I imagine is great to dial your sh*t in but also likely cost a greater chunk of change and time).

Can I piggyback on this and ask for the same PM since I had a very similar question to the OP? I thought you guys only did Ecutek tunes.

Thanks!

Yes, Twisted and Rk tunes, but that's it. I have yet to see numbers from anybody that has got a tune from one of them on the MHD platform. Everything has been Ecutek
A friend of mine is a marketing exec at the North American headquarters of Dynapack which is about ten miles from my house. Sometime in the next few weeks we will be dynoing my car. I will get a baseline on 91 with stock tune, 91 tuned, and then e50. Tunes are from Twisted using MHD.

there are a ton of tuners on MHD. i'm one, and virtually every other tuner tuning these cars started on MHD (or BM3). most now just choose not to tune on MHD because Ecutek gave them everything. i support both because i have the same tables since before ecutek,

right now what sets ecutek apart, is the coming release of racerom. prior to that ecutek and mhd was the same. at least to someone that can read code and add the tables themselves.
