there are a ton of tuners on MHD. i'm one, and virtually every other tuner tuning these cars started on MHD (or BM3). most now just choose not to tune on MHD because Ecutek gave them everything. i support both because i have the same tables since before ecutek,

right now what sets ecutek apart, is the coming release of racerom. prior to that ecutek and mhd was the same. at least to someone that can read code and add the tables themselves.
All tuners that advertise there supra only offer ecutek tunes excluding you and Rktunes. Again, I have yet to see anybody else say they tuned the A90 with MHD since ecutek came out with its features. Also, Every tuner I saw that offers MHD tune either has bad customer service or don't reply to emails or PMs, but that's just my experience.

Thats the thing, until racerom (which technically isn't fully released yet. Only tuners have) there were no "extra features" with Ecutek vs MHD. They were the same. At least to me since i already had all the tables that Ecutek gave to everyone else.

I've personally been working with MHD for like 5 years or so. But im willing to bet 95% of tuners on the platform, were tuning with MHD at one point. Whether they still will continue to is on them. But they definitely used MHD (as well as BM3). remember, MHD and BM3 was out months prior to Ecutek.

As far as customer service and answering PM's and etc. Well i personally get 100+ PMs, DMs, Emails, Texts, Calls, and etc. almost daily. So sometimes i don't get to every inquiry immediately because im also running dyno operations in house and etc. But i can only speak for myself. Customers don't typically see the other end of stuff, they only see that they sent a message and it wasn't responded to right away. i try to respond to everyone within 1-5days. usually 1-3.

do you plan on dyno the car after the e50 tune?
I currently am running the e50 tune. Next two fillups will be 91 and I'll switch to stock tune. I'll run a baseline dyno with about four gallons of 91 and then add enough e85 to equal e50 and make some runs on the e50 tune.

Just a heads up on the 2021 your going to have a OBD locked DME and you'll need to have somoene unlock it for OBD writeability to use with MHD. I haven't used MHD my self but I don't see why it wouldnt work with a ustom tune from a tuner that actually knows how to define the ecu them self. I have access to all of the tables my self but i still just prefer using EcuTek, as it makes my day to day tasks easier.

I personally am just waiting to tune my 21’ it basically is already tuned from factory compared to a 2020. All the Supras and bmw b58 and s58 I’ve seen tuned that the people are happy with are the ECUtek and bm3 tunes. I would definitely hit up Visconti tuning cause they sound legit and are the only ones I’ve confirmed to have tuned a 21 with good looking results. The motor is completely different pistons and compression along with a different exhaust manifold as well as different timing and fuel maps so you would most likely start to Mess things up in the motor with an off the shelf tune or piggyback made for a 2020.
Well, to my knowledge, we just finished up tuning the first 2021 Supra via EcuTek. These were definitely proven to be very different than 2020s.

We didn’t shoot for any glory numbers here. Just a basic, conservative daily driver in a hot dyno room. We have seen some other 2021s dyno over 380whp stock, but on our dyno, you can seen it was lower.

This customer purchased a downpipe from us that we installed after getting a baseline on the car. Attached are all the graphs.

We have a Baseline. Stock car with catless downpipe (no tune). Stock car with catless downpipe and an Visconti Tuning Tune via EcuTek.

These things look very promising and we can’t wait until we get one that we can push the limits on!

So for those of you wondering, yes, we can tune 2021’s with no problem. Give me a shout if you’re ready to make some jam.

So if you go with Ecutek, would I still have to send out my 2021' DME?

My 2021 was unlocked via visconti and ecutek tuned. I'm running their flex kit and racerom now. The car is so much more fun on e50
