Also fixed the "V" Eventuri decal that was out of alignment from the factory on my engine cover.

I was looking at my picture from yesterday and was puzzled why my engine cover looked like it was pointing towards the passenger side. It was the V logo.. Got it perfectly straight now.

Hi...….I'm thinking about getting this Eventuri intake and engine cover also. What do you think about it and are they well built, high quality parts and craftsmanship? Does the engine cover have some kind of support built into it? I'm kind of worried that the heat from the engine will make it soft and deform. I'd appreciate some details before I spend over $2000 on these parts. Thanks!

i may be mistaken, but i believe the Eventuri engine cover uses the inside parts of the OEM engine cover, so youd just have to transfer the parts to the new one. i may be mistaken.

It's a nice unit. My Supra is a garage queen so I bought these totally unnecessary pieces for bling factor. The craftsmanship is very good, fitment is also very good.

The intake was easy to install (mainly it took me a while to remove the stock unit, but once that was off the Eventuri went in smoothly.

The engine cover uses the factory foam pieces you would remove from your factory cover. This is very easy to install. The only 2 things that were very UK-like as far as quality was the "V" decal. It was off center on mine so I removed it and realigned it. Looks perfect now.. and the missing hardware. Missing a few screws, but I have all sorts of screws so no problem.

No regrets. Each time I open the hood to hook up my battery tender I admire the intake, engine cover, and the black BMS tower brace I added later.

In with the new.. I like this one (Goldenwrench) so much more as it goes with the theme of the interior better.

Is that your own design? How did you make it? I like the idea... I think it needs to be simpler, easier to read.

I've been looking for a replacement because the Toyota emblem is not only outdated, it reminds me of Woody from Toy Story. It is by far the thing I like the least about the Supra.

Thanks for the info. Yeah mine is kind of a garage queen too. I don’t drive it as much since I started working from home, but I do love adding all these pieces to bling it up as well. If what I add boosts the power and performance then that’s a bonus to me. I haven’t started adding actual performance parts yet. This intake would be the first.

They definitely do. You can drive with your windows down with no issues now. Pretty nice at this time of the year.
