What I mean by that is, y'all don't think the B58 or some technologies that was shared during this codevelopment project won't move on to the A100 Supra?
Well yes, of course. Not just talking about cars, but common sense would be to take what was previously learned and apply and improve upon on it. What I was trying to said is that OP (before threads were merged) seems to be presenting the fan made renderings as Toyota and BMW getting together for a second act. I guess that could be possible if Toyota deems an in-house Supra would be too costly or if a Mazda partnership falls through. I don't think that is totally out of the question. With the 8 series being killed off and the BMW Next concept canned; BMW may decide to continue on with another Z4 to just save face.

I didn't mean it like that lol. I just meant I'm used to engines with bad reliability. But the B58 isn't one of them. Rotaries and EJ's blew left and right bone stock. I haven't heard of any B58's going stock. As far as reliability down the line, it's way too early to tell.
Ah ok. Yeah I was thinking the same thing. The B58 is still fairly new. We shall see.

Do you know if Calty has been commissioned to draw up some sketches/concepts?
If and when they do let's hope it more a long the lines of FT-1 rather than FT-HS. The shape lines and creases on latter didn't age very well imo.

at the end of the above very short article it says :

" We know we won’t be getting any more Supras or Z4s from this partnership even if it were to extend to the latter half of the decade, "

what year is current model going to be built through?

Having not read the entire thread I am taking 2025 from the article just cited.

I believe it's supposed to be 2025 which I think really means that the final Supra MKVs in all editions will be *model year* 2026.

Seven year model run for the A90 and Z4 from model year 2019.

Whatever it is it looks like a larger front engine coupe.
