Gotta do my Aimgain wing first which should be coming in a few weeks(?). Then I’m definitely joining you all with the Eventuri setup!

Does it require a new mapping of the ECU or some other tune? I read somewhere that just dropping in an Intake doesn't help since the computer kicks in and adjusts the flow.

It doesn’t require a tune, as you said the DME should be able to compensate for the extra airflow. Besides buying an intake for HP is not cost effective. It’s mostly for better noises and possibly just the cherry on top of tuning +DP.

Does the intake require it? no. As in, there will be no CEL and it's just a drop in with more noise. Will you have better gains with a tune + intake? Maybe.

I have this installed and don't remember feeling any kind of increase right after but it sure sounds better. Now that I have a tune, the car is definitely faster but I have no idea if it would be slower with a stock box. I would imagine that it wouldn't be.
