lol! you're right, in some ways that whole segment is bonkers. I really don't see the need for a 600hp GT car to go from London to Paris on Weekends : P I think most would be ok with a Mk 5 Supra/Z4 or a RC. But then again if you have the $$$ who cares!

yeah, that segment is just weird... if you have $100k then I don't think they give a damn about an LC500, but maybe they do lol.

Personally I think it will be fine, Toyota's usually bullet proof.
But whatever problems that may arise will be covered under warranty anyways so I have no problem.
It won't be my daily driver though, so I'm looking at it from a different light.

Perhaps the Porsche spyder. (Hopefully the GT4, but rumored to not be coming anytime soon)

Alfa might debut the next 4C, at the least they have been making some noise.

Hyundai have been talking about bringing a performance line to North America, maybe we will see something.

Z4? Probably Z4

Volvo is launching polestar as it's own brand maybe we will see something there.

Finally the mid engined corvette.

Geneva's the scene for new hypercars, the petroltrash can easily hop over to check out the latest, so we may see a few new versions of those.

On the reliability of the first year of the Supra - if were a "pure" Toyota I wouldn't be concerned. But the history of the Toyota-Subaru joint initiative to build the twins leaves room for doubt - as owners here and elsewhere have pointed out, there were some issues with the fist year cars that neither company addressed for quite a while..

Honestly, I don't know, I put them in better category than Holiday Auto, Auto Bild and the Random Australian publications. Unless I see a Press Release from Toyota it's all a maybe. Then again...eh *Shrugs* It's also not very Toyota like not to do teasers too.
