New ACC Feature on 2021s

I have not seen this reported about the new speed limit change set option for adaptive cruise control on the 2021s as shown in this video. Interesting little update.

Have this in my 2020 in the UK. It’s activated in a setting on the main display, you can also set an over speed for it as well - so say you drive into a 50 limit, press the “set” button as you will have done and it’ll set the cruise to 50 plus 0-5 MPH depending on your setting.

Interesting I looked for a setting for it but didn’t see it so maybe not in US. Which menu btw?

Very interesting

It’s called “Speed limit assist”. Page 251, 252 in the manual.

“Via Toyota Supra Command:
1 "My vehicle"
2 "Vehicle settings"
3 "Speed Assistant"”

According to the 2021 US manual it doesn't look like you can have it set to over the speed limit unfortunately. Maybe someone with a 2021 can verify settings.

I have this on my MY20. Never knew what it did. Pretty neat

This feature is also on the 2020...Just simply press "set" while in cruise assist and it sets to posted speed....Once you enter a different speed zone with cruise assist already engaged you symply press the "set" button again and it changes to new posted speed...It would be really nice if it did this automatically!

Wait my 2020 doesn’t have this. Maybe because I have over speed warning turned off?

I have my overspeed turned off as well...

I actually noticed this last week while driving...As long as you have a posted speed showing up and your in cruise assist mode just press the set button and it will set cruise to posted speed...I was tickled as shit to find this feature..LOL

If it only did this automatically I'd be over the moon ..ha!

You have to enable it as well.

So “adjust manually” needs to be selected? I had middle selection. Thx!!!
