Just out of curiosity, has anyone done a custom exhaust done for the MKV Supra?
I havent seen one done (here atleast). I was curious how they would go about doing it.
Talking about like custom fab work from like muffler/exhaust shops from scratch. was really wondering also if like the "quiet/comfort" mode could be kept. while still having that "loud/burbles" for the sport mode. or something like the sport mode for the comfort mode and a louder exhaust tone for the sport mode? :dunno:

Not yet. But I am planning to do just so. And as a matter of fact, I always build from scratch or have built from scratch,, all exhaust upgrades done to any of my cars.
I will be heading to Rogers exhaust in Fontana ca this Tuesday, to put Gazoo up in the air, and see what can be done to free up some power. And without using the butterfly actuator / Sport Valve.
I feel the car is too quiet for my taste. And prefer a little bit more sound at all times. After all, it is a sports car.
I also plan to make this custom exhaust system but Without changing the downpipe just yet.

Think about it for a second, for one they or most shops would just bend some pipe to create an exhaust system versus an actually engineered or CAD designed exhaust. It would be very difficult for them to also keep the stock valve system so 99% you would lose the valve controls and it would be always open.

yea i also thought about that. but since its near the tips. Ive seen someone in youtube. do like a center reroute exit for the valve. i guess it depends in the muffler/exhaust shop it theyre willing to put the work to make it work. (but have to "fully" chop up the stock exhaust for the valve)
