Reducing the charged air volume between compressor and intake manifold increases throttle responseWhat do you mean by, and how do you gain "improved everyday responsiveness" with an A2W system vs A2A?

Toyota has pretty much done the same with the 2nd gen 86 and 2021 Lexus IS. For me it comes down to pricing. If it's a $35-$40k I would be interested. Even with a manual if Nissan is going to price it at $50k as A70 has hinted that would be a hard pass for me.https://www.motortrend.com/features-collections/nissan-z-proto-concept-370z-comparison-visual/
Looks like it's basically a reskinned 370 with a new Infiniti motor.
Really good rendition. But the swooping roofline and c-pillar of the coupe is what gives it it's Z character. This just looks like a Saturn (GM) version of the S2000.More fan art etc on our sister forum.

Good point. $35-40k for a 400hp 6-manual rwd sports car would be a bargain. Regardless of it's polarizing looks. Also, really kills the 2.0 Supra for me (in OEM form.)Toyota has pretty much done the same with the 2nd gen 86 and 2021 Lexus IS. For me it comes down to pricing. Yes the volume. There is less air due to the reduced length of the intake tract.Reducing the "volume", huh?
If you're just going to copy pasta and conflate marketing wank bullet points that you clearly don't fully grasp, then no point continuing... Come back when you've built/tested/raced a few iterations of both systems, and have some real experience to share.
Who is trolling? There are clear sidebar conversations but there literal no trollsSo this thread is now just full of the usual trolls, I think I'm done with this thread even though I was excited about the announcement.
Now that right there... that's hot!! Get rid of that stupid kink on the door and the kink on the sill and we've got ourselves a proper Fairlady Z!!What the new Z should have looked like

Depending on the levels of refinement and features, I could see it being as low as $36k which is where the Q50 starts. But on the other hand, I do think they will add more features to try to compete with the Supra's features.Wait, are people really expecting to pay 35-40k OTD for TTM6 brand new sports car? Serious question. Seems like a pipe dream to me. The cheaper the price the sooner they will release it - so we will see I guess.
I meant that price range for the desirable version of the Z. The one with 400 hp (base q50s or 60 don't have that) and decent features. I am sure Nissan is gonna come out with some striped out car but to me those aren't what I'd be looking for. I can see them discounting the 400 TT Z from q60 based on the fact that its a Nissan and that their sales are trash (especially for Infiniti) but I don't see them giving it away to anyone.Depending on the levels of refinement and features, I could see it being as low as $36k which is where the Q50 starts. I personally think they should do a ~$36k barebones version with small brakes, open differential, and cloth seats to get buyers in the door and a ~42K 'premium' or 'sport' version with the larger Akebono brakes, VLSD and leather/suede seats to undercut the 2.0 Supra altogether.
