I disconnected the Protune and still got a P0420 code, I guess its not the titan. Perhaps I did something wrong during the down-pipe install, hard to say?
Clear CEL and drive it around for a few cycles to clear the permanent code as angrytoddler stated. If you need some help, I am in NoVA and can lend a hand.

What I mean is, don't change how you drive your car. Hence normally. If you drive it to commute, continue to do that.

I was being a smart ass, Its a pleasure car and I live in a mostly rural area, so I can push the car harder. It wont throw codes when in normal mode I have noticed.

So I am reading about drive cycles to erase the permanent DTC codes. When I first installed the down pipe I had a exhaust leak at the V-band so I loosened up the bolts and redid the v-band. I forget the actually connect both the O2 sensors in my haste so it triggered 2 permanent DTC's. Do these come back or are new ones being throw

Clear them with a scan tool and drive around. They will go away after a few drive cycles.

I reset the code and drove the car a few miles today as gentle as possible and it still threw a P0420 after 6 miles. I ordered a new V-band and gasket and will try replacing those.

I put the stock dp back in, drove the car and all the permanent codes are gone. I reinstalled the Pro tune and its been codeless, I noticed the power increase seems much stronger, its been a lot cooler lately (mid 60's) so that may have a impact.
