still waiting here.....last i was told there were 259 supras on the priority list along with all the others at the port that had to get this reflash.....i swear you think they could bang out 50 cars a day or so....i mean how long does it take to plug it in flash it and then just run a dianostics...

Who knows. I will stick it out and wait but part of me wants to tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine
I hope this crap gets resolved before the GRMN gets here in a few years lol. So far Toyota is 0-2 with their Limited Edition deliveries.

0-3 if u count the incomplete a90 editions in UK last year. Only 90 of them too

Anyone considering canceling their order due to the locked ECU issue? I'm seriously thinking of canceling and trying to pick up an early 2021MY A90. From what I read on the actual EcuTek official announcement and the level of encryption, they are not going to have this fixed without partnership from Bosch.

I've gone back and forth a couple times. There are reasons for me to go both directions, man, this is a tough one.

Tuning the car really unlocks its potential, you wouldn't realise how much until you drove one, not being able too is disappointing to say the least

This isn't anything new with BMWs and tuners usually find a way. Also, if you buy an earlier build, what's the guarantee that the next time your car is at service for warranty work (not an oil change) that it won't get the latest flash?

Buy the car that you like and enjoy it. I respect people who want to tune a brand new car, but I frankly don't understand tuning a 400hp car to have 500hp for street driving. If you want to tune it, do it after you have exceeded the stock car's limits at a road course. That experience is much more rewarding as a driver and as an enthusiast. I bet you will forget about hp/torque and come back looking for better braking performance and tires. Anyhow, it's all good

im at that point where i even forgot that i ordered a supra.
