  1. Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra
  2. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!
  3. Wish List for the new Supra / Must Have Futures and Options!

Cool rendering used for that video but the front end reminds me of a Korean car. The front intake area looks like an upside down Genesis Coupe... actually the whole car reminds me of it., except the roofline.
  4. MKV Toyota Supra Photoshops & Renders based on FT-1 & Prototypes

I hope the production wheels look this cool. The BMW M3/M4 competition wheels with pentagram design that we saw on the prototypes so far look horrible on a small sports car.
  5. Crickets... give us some news Toyota!

That would make it almost exactly 20 years since they stopped selling it in the U.S. I've been waiting this long I guess another year won't kill me lol. Just hope a pretty much close to production spec concept shows its face soon.
  6. Crickets... give us some news Toyota!

It seems for sure there won't be a 2017 Supra right? We'd be seeing something at this point. 2018? 2019? 3 year timeline from Jan 2014 FT-1 debut based on other rollouts timing?
  7. Toyota News Thread

Darn, I was hoping for a Scion Supra too
  8. Toyota FT-1 Supra vs Lexus LC

That looks really good even under full camouflage. Looks like it lost some of its width due to the tail lights being slimmed down but it still looks ultra wide. Definitely helps keeps my expectations high for FT-1.
  9. Mid-engined Honda sports car (mini NSX) to take on Supra?

Del Sol LOL. What about the new NSX tho - looks legit on paper at least?
  10. Crickets... give us some news Toyota!

Yea there's no better bang for the buck out there than the C7 probably, but there's something about the stigma of the name that wouldn't make me feel right about owning one. I know it's a petty reason not to buy a car but at the end of the day you gotta feel comfortable and identify with your...
  11. Crickets... give us some news Toyota!

I think that's why Toyota deliberately didn't call the FT-1 a Supra concept, but of course everyone made the mental connection. It probably had just started being designed/modeled around that time.
  12. Toyota FT-1 concept & A90 Supra design dissected

Honda seems to be making its way back to some respectability with the new NSX, S660 roadster, and the next gen Civic concept. Cmon Toyota, your move, bring us some sportier cars.
  13. 3rd gen G29 BMW Z4 (2019-202X)

Why do we know more about the next Z5 design than the Supra??
  14. 3rd gen G29 BMW Z4 (2019-202X)

If I had to guess I would say Frankfurt this Fall or even Detroit in January 2016. They're going to be showing an M2 concept soon so they may not want the two concepts at the same show.
  15. Toyota FT-1 concept & A90 Supra design dissected

Toyota doesn't really have this kind of corporate front end like many of the others. It's not as similar at least. Though if you look at the Prius even that has a slight Enzo nose :stirthepot: Don't laugh we might see this happen :p
  16. Will the 2017 Supra use carbon fiber?

I just read even the GT350R will have carbon ceramic brakes and carbon fiber wheels. Toyota better BRING IT with the Supra. Competition aint messing around and we have maybe two more years to wait, meaning even better cars on the horizon.
  17. The MKIV vs MKV Thread

No one is using round headlights anymore, it's too retro on a modern design. They just keep getting slimmer and narrower. Speaking of, how about Toyota borrow some of that laser technology from BMW while they're at it? :stirthepot...
  18. Mitsubishi Sending Off Lancer Evo X with More Powerful Limited Edition in 2015

Had no idea the Evo was still in production. Sad day. They used to make some good sports cars back in the day like eclipse, and 3000GT.
  19. Toyota FT-1 concept & A90 Supra design dissected

I don't mind if the Supra ends up being the most beautiful Toyota design and they end up giving other models a similar face. The rest of the car's shape will still look nothing like any other Toyota. I'm sure the designers of the production version have probably been told to make sure to give it...
