The hood got shredded pretty good... the rest of the car isn't too bad, maybe 10 total between the roof, rear QPs, etc. Thinking I may try to pocket a portion of the insurance settlement and opt for a carbon fiber hood 🤷♂️
I have a quick lil clip I uploaded last night actually, here:
I made it about 24 hours, my CEL popped on the way back from work today. It's pretty unintrusive though, nothing shows up on the infotainment, just your classic CEL in the cluster.
I can make a more thorough video later today if...
We see it a lot with our new cars.. typically it's because the car has an option here or there. Nothing at all to worry about.
Let's say hypothetically your car has an option that the one they rated the load capacity with doesn't, your LB difference goes on the sticker.
Dumb little thing...
Yes, invoice. I work for Toyota so all I had to do was squeeze my new car director a bit. In the Gulf States Toyota region there's a little over $4k in markup from invoice to MSRP so it sounds like you came out alright as well. 👍
I have yet to attend an enjoyable meet in Austin lol. I moved from Minneapolis a few years ago and the car scene was great! Struggling to find anything worthwhile although the drama about people shooting at each other at meets a couple of months ago was pretty entertaining.
