I would just buy the MHD license and try it, and in the event it does need a bench unlock (which sounds unlikely) purchase their unlocker module.

I also have rubbing due to the aftermarket rock guards. (I need to take them off and modify them) You may be having the same issue where if so, you should see the rub marks on them.

Not sure if there is any adjustment on this OTS map, but seem to remember the default is 60% power.

I had no issues with mine so canāt really help.. Only thing I can think of is do you have the port 5 connector the right way around? (I seem to remember itās the opposite way around to what you might think)
I would go with the MHD flex fuel and also buy their unlocker module. I used one to unlock mine which was very simple to do. Also, if I was to ever take it to Toyota and they did an ecu update which locks it again I have the unlocker sat in a drawer at home.
I can vouch for the existence of this as Iāve seen it and even been in the car to hear what it sounds like. It also now includes the cobra sports cat which gives him the extra 40hp with the installed MHD map over my stock MHD map.

For me, I went with MHD instead of BM3. (MHD/BM3 are very much the same thing)

Does anyone know if this unlocker is generic or fixed for MHD only? I was just wondering if I sayā¦. had a mate (obviously, with early ECU) who wanted BM3 that they could borrow my unlocker?
Just an FYI that I will be installing an MHD remap soon. Will let you know if this gets rid of hesitation issue.
As a side note I also plan to get their unlocker module which allows the early ecu to be unlocked at home (pre June 2020 cars) without needing to spend a couple hundred quid taking...
The strut bars should come with the nuts+bolts needed for the older car without threads. (My Blitz ones did)
One tipā¦ If you want to install it without jacking the car up just sick the nut on the end of your finger with some double sided tape so you can reach up into the wheel well with it.
Iāve not read pages 2-19, but is this a 20 page thread on a diff leak where no one has yet taken out the diff plug to see if itās over/under filled? (Toyota/owner/anyone?)
