Very interesting. I wonder if you finance outside of Toyota/BMW if they would still have the same stipulation. Maybe Toyota/BMW has this in their financing clause too in the USA but it is never enforced.
How would that work?
They find out you modified it and then ask you to pay back the loan immediately and if you can't/wont they attempt to repossess the car?
My father was a parts manager for Lexus for 20+ years before he retired, neither Toyota nor Lexus dealership can tell you exactly what part was put in the engine.
They can take the VIN number and then lookup what the current proper replacement part number is, but that is it. I don't know what...
What else would you have bought for speed besides a Supra?
For me personally, cars that have more power than the Supra are also way too heavy and probably the only answer for me would have been Porsche 911 or maybe a 718 Cayman GTS
Driving Manual is fun and is a great throwback.
Everyone wanted manuals back in the day because the automatics were just awful for performance.
The same argument can (and will) be made for electric cars vs internal combustion engines. :)
The new automatics outperform manuals, most race cars...
The rear wing on the US Final Edition is the TRD Wing.
I personally don't think it fits the car as it breaks the body lines.

There is such thing as fuel dilution -unburnt fuel gets into the oil and breaks it down, with new synthetics I believe they resist this more than others, but I usually don't go past two years letting the car sit without changing the oil.
I bought my Supra new in '21 and it has like 2,800 miles on it now - I work from home and its a fun car for nice weather. I have changed the oil once at 1500 miles, and then just changed the oil recently again at 2,800.
I always thought these cars were third fun cars for people - I am always...
You could try some 3m Blue painters tape as well. I bet you that anyone with damage or peeling clearcoats probably had paint work done after the factory (with our without them knowing)
Awesome! Congratulations!
You can buy some Track Tape to protect from stone chips etc on your way home - its not pretty but it does the job.

I used it on my wifes Minivan when we drove to Canada from Chicago and it worked well.
Off topic comment - but if you think you are going to get a new 2026, you might as well get a new 2025 and should start getting on dealership lists now and looking at the Toyota inventory checker - these things sell quickly and they are rare.
The OEM downpipe has two catalytic converters built into it - its why its so darn big.
The first cat is before the second oxygen sensor, and then after the sensor there is another one that is not monitored.
The sensor is sandwiched between the two.
