I have no idea, that's part of the issue. I'm going to force it up on and it should work. It doesn't Crack or anything holding it there. Bought it used hoping to make it work and will try again. If not, oh well ?

I'd go to Lowes or something and research rubber bushings until you can get the correct one. Just a quick Bing search found a few that might be able to work

Yeah, I'm thinking the hardware will keep it secure. It fits snug and well holding it extremely snug and tight with my hands. I just "assumed" lips wouldn't take much force to be flush ??

So I am having trouble installing a front lip I have. It fits all way around but it's so flat it gaps under the headlights. I can force it to sit without gaps just afraid it'll eventually pull off and gap again. I got it used from a member here, they never tried installing it. So Im not blaming...

You hit the nail on the head. It's just a trend like the gas station thing. Someone took a Pic of it and then someone else etc. That's all. Nothing deep or anything
