  1. Ugh, I broke my mirror, which part do I need?

The way way to tell is that the factory Mirror has a bunch of wire retainer clips, so you don't need tape on the back. i have a spare oem driver side mirror if you want to go that route. shoot me a pm if you want it
  2. Ugh, I broke my mirror, which part do I need?

looks like rexpeed. i had the same issue even though i was extra delicate installing it and keeping it perfectly aligned before pressing in. the design is way too fragile compared to stock. rexpeed would not cover it, i had to buy another.

  4. Deepest GR Supra exhaust ?

Unfortunately, HKS universal mufflers don't go larger than 3 inch inlet, which is smaller than the downpipe restriction. HKS DOES make larger inlet mufflers, but they are only sold with full exhausts and not "a la carte". For a long time, dsm/evo/3000gt guys were buying MKIV Carbon-ti...
  5. Help, how to adjust camber plates??

Agree, I don't see how irreversibly cutting a structural member is a reasonable choice over buying a $2 tool and/or moving the bolts over one hole
  6. Help, how to adjust camber plates??

if the ball end isnt enough to reach, you may need to drop the strut down and move the bolts to the inner pair of holes to get a slightly better angle
  7. Android Peasants - AAIDrive Project might interest you!

was having the same problem, I needed to enable ALL permissions WITHIN the app for it to work. Just doing it from the android settings menu wasn't enough. In my case, after flipping notifications permissions on, the new option below "sport displays" showed up.
  8. Installed a BOV on my A91mt and it sounds amazing! *** how to video

13:05 uhhh the car shouldn't jerk forward like that when revving while clutched in. you may need to adjust your clutch pedal, hopefully there's not debris stuck between the PP and flywheel. other thought is dead cold fluid in the trans causing the input and output shafts to grab via the...

is it the powertex batteries that are giving you problems? should i try the antigravity or just give up on the idea?
  10. HKS Hi Power Exhaust valve rattling

in that case it's the exhaust pulse leakage. unavoidable unless you want to go down a rabbit hole
  11. HKS Hi Power Exhaust valve rattling

To me it sounds like exhaust leakage past the butterfly, which is always going to happen somewhat. Does the sound go away when you hold the butterfly stationary with a stick or something?

  13. trash site

that actually brings up a good point, are there multiple generally-accepted tuning strategies for bmw DMEs? If so, what are the pros/cons when you compare them?
  14. trash site

eagerly awaiting the next lesson. i don't know what I don't know, so i don't know what to ask until you clue us in. but as someone that also lived the arc2/mapecu/AEMEMS life, the multiple knobs to achieve the same cylinder fill is paralyzing. dont know where to even start if I were to upgrade...
  15. Simple Bump Steer Fix?

Verkline subframe WILL adjust the bumpsteer curve, since you are changing the pivot point locations. i.e., move pivot point inboard and lengthen arm to compensate, will give a smaller magnitude of toe at the endpoints. Moving the pivot point up or down will change the bump/droop position of...
  16. Simple Bump Steer Fix?

Bump steer can occur in the rear. Attaching a copy of "Tires, Suspension and Handling" by Dixon, where the expressions are in section 5.16. Dixon also refers to what brian describes with the traction arms as "compliance steer". But kinematically, it's the same thing. edit: file too big...
  17. Is it bad to run a downpipe without a tune?

  19. Coding Out Instead of Error Cancellors on full Coilovers?

https://www.bimmerscene.com/showthread.php?tid=2617 This is the method but you will need to buy ProTool and it's not confirmed yet for supra. You can also pay this company to do it remotely. https://bimmer-remote.com/products/bmw-g80-g82-edc-code-out
  20. JB4 for noobs (beginners)

jb+ has no knowledge of the engine's rpm or pedal position, so it will simply apply an offset to the boost signal all the time, including at idle. this can occasionally cause error codes because the dme thinks "wtf is the engine doing, that doesn't make any sense"
