Sort of off topic, but someone was flow testing the new head and they said it needs a lot of work. I didn’t get specific numbers but seems that the headifold is limiting (to nobody’s surprise).
Honestly I dislike ambient lighting and the floor mats I don’t care about because I put my shoes on them.
There are two gripes I have about the car that can’t easily be fixed, I dislike the warning sounds it makes and I dislike the steering wheel.
I live near you in the inland empire, so I feel you with those markups. Join some of the facebook A90 groups because a lot of salesmen have been offering cars at MSRP and nationwide shipping. It would be easiest in your case to buy out of state and pay the 600-1000 shipping price.
That reminds me, in U.S. Supras, the front of the grill has a mini blanking plate at the bottom edge. It may be better for you to either dremel it out or remove the grill entirely.
That's really odd, I heard from others that the Supra maintained very steady temps while on track. It seems the conditions in Qatar were really hard on the car.
I mean it does have a similar shape, but so does the 2000GT, F-Type, E-Type, AMG GT, 812 Superfast, 240Z etc.
The rear hatch on the Z4 is set much further back than the Supra's and the beltline dips in the middle rather than a smooth rise.
That's awesome! I can imagine the climate there is hot and humid right now which would have a negative affect on power. Also, as we always say, dyno numbers are not transient. We're looking for a good delta and 65 horsepower is pretty good for a non-flash.
