Although I do not condone street racing, this is a pretty awesome set of races.
As per the description in the video:
2020 Supra -93 Octane Titan Motorsports Flash (Base tune not custom)
2018+ 5.0 Mustang 10R80 -Palm Beach Tuning 93 Octane
Nissan GT-R -Intakes, Midpipes, exhaust...
I've looked into it and I doubt any will work reliably. The O2 sensors are too sensitive in these cars and it will likely trigger a CEL if you get on it.
But here's the problem: Toyota is a business, car doens't sell = car goes bye-bye. What normal person would buy a 100k+ Toyota? For all we know its engine could have been made of glass, it could have looked worse than the real car, it could have been auto only, it could have handled like crap...
I agree, but here's the thing, Supras are not "rare" in the grand scheme of things. There are several thousand TT's in the U.S. which is a decent amount of cars when compared to some of the production numbers of old Porsches and some 60's muscle cars.
This is a point of contention for myself. I never understood why the values are so inflated... I get prices around 20-30k, but any higher is pretty ridiculous. USDM cars will likely always be expensive due to limited quantities, but JDM cars are getting expensive too. This doesn't make much...
I agree. MKIV harks back to a different time. It’s desirability is based on reputation. I honestly don’t know what drives MKV sales at the moment other than hype lol.
This test doesn't make sense to me. Both the Mustang and the Supra should have been way faster. It's odd, because I know in other tests the Supra handled amazingly and ran really good times and the Mustang is also very capable as well.
It's even weirder that they were both slower than the M2...
I agree,
The best part to me is actually the MHD partnership. That's a group of people who, other than ProTuning Freaks, has the best potential to fully unlock the ECU.
A Supra in Germany that has a BorgWarner EFR8474 turbo on a custom manifold.
The car runs and drives already. It is currently under development with MHD, one of the largest BMW ECU tuning companies.
I modeled a little thing that fits on the mirror plate like on a Porsche. However, there's no piece that pops off there, other than the whole plate. You would likely have to remake that entire piece unless you are okay with a tacked on diffuser.
