Don’t be afraid to travel for exactly what you want. I drove 2 hours away for my car. Now granted 2 hours is not long/far but be willing to look further than you might want to. Be a nice story to need a plane ticket and subsequent road trip.
Cars are a terrible investment. Don’t think anything in terms of value retention. Throw that out the window and decide if you like the car and if its price is equal or close enough to what you feel is fair.
If it turns out to be the next Stanley cup or Trader Joe’s tote then happy accident.
It would seem no longer is it just Halloween and Christmas showing up early. April Fool’s Day is arriving early to the party now too.
I’ll believe it when people start asking what oil they should be using in it.
Big box stores (Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.) have a way to measure a bolts thread pitch in the same aisle as the hardware. I’d say to be certain just take one bolt of every type you want to replace and confirm it using their guide.
