ive seen a youtube video recently of a jb4 supra stock turbo limping out on low rpm because of some code issues. im sure there is a fix, but at what power level does this problem come back at? Any chance you can find that time slip?

Did either of you / anyone else start running a pure 800 on jb4. I’d like more info on this limp mode speculation. Plus just to know how smooth it is will be very helpful for me at this time

I’ve seen aftermarket driver shafts for the Supra, but I’ve never heard of anyone upgrading. Is that overkill?

+1 on passing up on the manifold. The pi plate is way way less expensive with the same outcome. You shouldn’t have to worry about any manifold cooling issues, especially if you get some meth in the charge pipe (additional 1,000$)

I wouldn’t necessarily compare the gr86 to the Supra. The Supra is made to be fast, 86 is more made to be engaging. The Supra should be compared to the GTR, which is never ever going to be manual ever again.

What stage are your wheels at?

Rethreading is the solution, however I’d just return it while you can. The second you retread it then your warranty is gone. You shouldn’t have to modify a wheel you got new

What else were you hoping to have done by now?

Honestly I couldn’t remember the airport or airline. But I paid 750-800 for first class. I definitely believe I could have gotten them cheaper if I ordered longer ago. I’m tempted to send an employee to get these ecus unlocked ? But my confidence in them is too little
