I was optimistic but starting to agree. Not very intelligent to post something like this and then not elaborate. At best it looks bad for you even if you do release the info. Case in point: virtually the entire thread.
Lots of variables, but it would be at least as fast, probably more so. I'm at 1000-2000DA, but my 60-130 is in the mid 8s range with JB4 on E40. Seems to be not as fast as a custom tune, but faster than virtually any OTS tune.
If all you're going for is better performance, and price is a concern, JB4 will get similar or better performance than an OTS tune for about 1/4 the price. I think you'd have to be on drugs to spend $1800 to basically get an OTS tune. JB4 can get you from high 12s 60-130 down to low 8's
It's a feedback loop. I only ever go on Facebook to check out the Supra, S2k, and Lotus groups since there is more engagement there than on forums (another reason FB sucks). It's why it's so concerning that basically one shop is controlling what people see. I posted the same vendor's info on...
Not sure if the clone is a different price, but again, $1800 for clone service with another vendor, and nobody knows about them because shit is constantly deleted on social media. Deleting competitor information posted by unaffiliated individuals is not the same thing, and is possibly the most...
Not reading past your first lie and then "acquisitions"? You literally deleted a few dozen posts last weekend. Shameful. Not even in the market for anything you folks sell, and your behavior is hard to stomach.
No it's a general Supra MkV page on Facebook but I think they're admins. They can do what they'd like, but if you're going to do business with someone and trust them with thousands of your dollars... Pretty important to know.
Edit: Don't take it from me, just look for all the other vendors and businesses that have this problem on social media and the forum. Oh wait...?
I have zero skin in this game, but a certain shop - Not going to name names (Visconti) - is actively deleting comments on social media about...
Dealing with those guys seems to be hit or miss, and when it's miss you're basically screwed. Just judging by their reaction to some things, I'd personally stay away.
A couple things, make sure the flap is in the right position (closed 100%) when the valve is mounted to the exhaust or connected with the pin. BC button should be able to switch the flap (both blinkers indicate it's associated with the drive mode and not overridden by the JB4). If it doesn't...
Once or twice I had to go and repeatedly switch it until it worked. Back up against a wall and you'll also have an easier time hearing it switch, especially if you have a quieter exhaust.
All this thread has shown is the desperate need for us to have multiple choices in getting our DME's unlocked. Thankfully I'm patient, and can wait to go with the best option when it becomes available.
I could have sworn I saw something about Femto having something going on in Belgium, that's probably related. If it's really $800 and only a week wait. This might be as good as it gets.
