My favorite BMW of all time is the E92 M3. The current M2 is very good. My old F80 wasn’t bad. Now I understand the reliability concerns, but if BMW has been as thorough as they make it sound you should have nothing to worry about.
That honestly doesn't bother me at all. I would rather it be smaller than larger, and considering I wouldn't have used the rear seats either way, it is not great loss to me.
I don't know about that. The PDK is awesome 99% of the time, don't get me wrong. I've had two. But, that transmission has some issues with predictability that sometimes can put you in bad situations.
I also recall that Matt Farah said this is the best tuned ZF trans he has driven, high praise...

Not ruffled per-se. I understand the points that such as the lack of a manual, or the fact that Toyota has the capability to have developed it themselves. However, I still am willing to give the car a chance simply because times have changed.

I still don't understand this whole mirror issue. If we look at this with a purely realistic standpoint, the stupid (albeit pretty) mirrors on the FT-1 would make it impossible to see cars next to you.
It sounds nice in theory, but on paper it would suck every day having to strain to see cars...
The HPFP can’t pump much more though. The B58 runs 350 bar of fuel pressure and that’s a single hpfp instead of dual like the S55. I am not up to date on the N54 but I recall those are piezoelectric injectors and that the fuel system is fairly robust.
Nobody can say for sure. All I know is that my experiences with BMW have always been positive. I have never had issues outside of scheduled maintenance.
I think he’s okay most of the time, I feel he usually delivers a fairly mature video in the sense he is mostly objective. As of this video, however, it sees he wants to ride the wave of negativity that has come with the car.
I don't know how much sense this makes honestly. It seems we have contradicting information. Unless the horsepower figure is just a coincidence of tuning the B58B30M1, which I sincerely doubt, then there are hardware differences.
