Tiptronics are the crappy old automated single clutch manuals. They are all terrible. Plus 200 milliseconds is not very long especially when you consider how long a human takes to shift a manual.

Yes but those are all launch editions, I have a feeling they would rather ship out the regular Supras to have the press use.

It is not 59k, it is 64.5k if you add autopilot. Also, the quality on most of the 3's I have seen is pretty horrendous, not to mention the fact that the 300 mpg is on a good day only. I personally really like the Model S, and understand that 300 is way more than necessary for daily commutes...

From what I've heard, the B58B30M1 has tweaked tables from prior B58's which means the tuners will have to create new tunes for the cars running this engine. I think that the actual encryption protocols and such are the same, however.
