Ignition timing is on the struggle bus, you likely have lots of knock. I'm guessing you're on arizona/cali/nevada 91 octane? Definitely don't try a map 2 or 3 pull.
Do you have any stations near you that have e85?
honestly the twistlocks on my passenger side were so stiff I had to use a pair of pliers anyway. i would have preferred bolts on both sides, but i wonder if theres some sort of regulation that the fuses need to be accessible without hand tools.
Now why would they go and make a trivial change like this, but then ignore the wind buffeting problem. and only half-ass the change, to boot.
how it looks on the 2023:
I vaguely remember panel 6 having finger twist fasteners, but panel number 5 either needed a 10mm socket or a Phillips screwdriver. I do recall being annoyed that it wasn't twist lock on both sides
Are you able to get any additional context? If it was for a plaything for an executive at a large tech/oil/pharma company, sure why not. if it was a rental, hell no.
About 2 weeks ago I harvested the fittings from a new stock hose and connected them with some 1/4 inch 30R7 fuel hose (about 12 inches or so). I was debating on 30R9 or 30R10, but I figured the reduced permeation would come at the cost of increased stiffness (and therefore, less strain relief)...
Ran out to my car to double-check; you are absolutely correct and the other guy is wrong. The sewn loop on both my belts is facing the rear of the car (like your passenger side). even if you flipped the buckle, the belt itself would still have a half-turn.
All I've got at home is just a tape measure... looks like a hair under 5/8 inch diameter. maybe 15 mm?
The barb is 1/4 inch, not having much luck finding a breather of that size. 3/8 inch is about as small as they go.
I ordered a badge and a sticker yesterday to see how they'd look in person and they just shipped this morning
edit: and the badge just arrived today (2 days after ordering)
You may recall from your high school chemistry class that although catalysts are not consumed during a reaction, they may still change state. i am not an aftertreatment engineer, but it looks like catalytic aging mechanism is similar to battery aging mechanisms. the good stuff "clumps up" during...
A little more Clarity please, since the details matter. Did you use kitchen aluminum foil like Reynolds wrap? Or something like a spark plug boot protector?
I concur and suggest checking battery voltage with multimeter if connections are tight. My 2023's battery had to be replaced immediately when the dealer received it, since the car was sitting at the port/customs for so long and would no longer take a charge.
afaik, map switching is when you use your steering wheel to pick between separate discrete maps.
if you're taking about bm3 multi-map, it uses 2 maps (full gas or full ethanol) and interpolates ALL lookup tables on-the-fly. note that the "full ethanol" threshold is user-defined and doesnt...
