I just wired directly to the fuse box in the passenger footwell to run my MAX360. I forget which fuse I tapped into (I got the info from this site), but it's working great... considering all the hassles some of you folks had with those taps, might as well just go directly to the fuse box and...
Congrats. That's a nice color too. It's like you can enjoy 3-4 different colors when light hits it at different intensities. Matches the wheel color real nicely too.
Come to think of it, I've not checked my coolant level since like 2 yrs ago when I did the HPS bleeder.. well, that's only like 2k miles for me so no biggie, but I did order a bottle of HT-12. Thanks @Rensuhlo
By the time I get the bottle this weekend, I'm going to be putting away...
Yep. You have to because I'm stepping on the brake as I'm blipping. That is how you heel and toe if you don't know how to do it. Some folks do left foot braking, but I'm more familiar with using my right foot since I drive MT 99% of the time on street.
I disagree. The car does not perfectly rev-match on downshifts so I assist it with a mild heel and toe to slightly blip the throttle to get a seamless downshift. It's actually entertaining enough to call it engaging. I drive MT cars all the time so I know it's not the same, but then...
OP- I'm bascially a manual only guy. However I tried the Supra with AT anyway to see how I like it. Given the 2020's exhaust is quite loud (as how I like it) making all sorts of burble/fart noises shifting up and down, and how quick the car is all together, AT on is car is just correct. The...
I bought mine cash back when the pandemic started Spring of 2020. She's been great; mostly my garage queen and has just over 5K miles on the odo. ?
I plan to keep her for another 6-7 years.. maybe longer depending on how she ages.
I've yet to do the recall, so she can still be flashed (ECU)...
Stretched tires helps with squirm.. well more like stabilizing side wall twist. But 275's on 11 is bit of a stretch.. Given the front wheels are only 0.5" wider than stock (should look okay), the rear will look pretty  ..especially running all season tires.. I would just get some new...
0.75mm and 0.8mm right? 8.0 mm is like a frikken plexiglass on storm doors.. o_O
I use Xpel on my cars, but have had good results with other higher-end (not the highest) 3M/Scotch clearbra for like 1/2 - 3/4 of the price of the Xpel Ultimate.
Yeah, but you're happy you did. Don't half-arse yourself again, you'll regret it later is what I'm saying. GL with your purchase if you can find a Premium you like.
OP - If you want to go cheap I'd stick to your 2.0L... or consider a new GR86/BRZ. Cars like the Supra should be bought with all the bells and whistles loaded, unless it's a track car that do not need those things. I mean the premium is only like $60K.. BMW is not asking for much for such a...
I like CF, but my mirror caps are factory CF too so didn't want them clashing with each other with too much CF bling in the same area. It was more a distraction than visually pleasing. I also choose the matte CF for that reason to set them apart. They compliment each other well (if you...
I just use Griot's Speedshine after a drive or two.
I only drive on dry days so if I drive over puddles, I use their SprayOn CarWash which is their waterless car wash. No swirls, no scratches.. I just use liberal amounts of the product and a bunch of clean plush MF towels. My car is black.
