OP, if you haven't already, I recommend wheel spacers and longer stud bolts for your factory wheels. It makes the car look much better. I went with a mild set (10mm front/15mm rear) and does not look like a 4x4 at stock ride height.

There is considerable amount of flex if you push on it, but should not feel loose at all. You may have lost a clip or two from the bump.. (?) I detail my car all the time after a drive and I've never thought the bumper was loose.

The 2.0L is definitely more a driver's car if it came with MT, BBK, and LSD..with the same wheels/tires as the 3.0L. That would've been the shits.
