So true. My dd is a Subaru (WRX and WRX STI) so they look sort of okay even if dirty. I installed clearbra on both and so far their paint are in great shape. My worry is more about vandals and bird crap while parked, but so far the garage structure with security seems to help while parked...
Kind of a waste having all sorts of useful features on the car while she sits in the garage during the week day.. my daily driver don't have half of the amenities..
One day I might get that M240i AWD to replace my dd.. kind of butt ugly, but an AWD Supra kind of car is nice.. but low...
Yeah, probably you.
One needs to roll off the throttle even at WOT unless you powershift, or map the throttle for FFS.. not preaching or anything, just fact.
Tire psi?
The tires can dry or rot over the winter depending on how you stored them. It might take a little re-breakin to get the surface cleaned up. Did you also note which corner the tires came off of and remounted them as they were?
My car is on original 2020 tires.. they drive fine at...
Yikes.. sounds like when wiring stuff up behind the steering column. I have to be on my back with my head on the floor, otherwise I just don't bend the way some folks do.. o_O
I'm still at 4K+ miles after 4 yrs ownership, so a few years out.
Yeah, WeatherTech is great on daily drivers like my Subaru's but on a hobby car like the Supra I too much prefer carpet mats.
Most times WeatherTech's cover up the dead pedal (as it should for protection) but when I got a nice OEM looking dead pedal on the Supra, why ruin the look by covering...
I don't have issue with my parked cars, but I have squirrels digging holes in the dirt right up against the foundation of my house so I toss dried spent coffee grounds where they usually appear. They seem to hate the smell of coffee and never come back.. well, until the smell of coffee...
I'm not sure that double sided tape is going to hold.. unless you have a jack or something putting pressure on the adhesive for over 24hours constantly while it cures.
Even if you used a few screws, it will be night/day different in how secure it is on the car long term. No one asked, but I...
Chances are you folks are not applying sufficient light throttle while engaging the clutch, just enough to support the flywheel's momentum while the rpm is dropping.
I've read about something very similar in Golf-R forums where they removed the little valve thing (and BESTEST MOD EVAR!), but my...
The Eventuri is nice. My GR has their engine cover too for extra bling. I've seen some idiots wash the dry filters with water and oil them on YT.. If anyone lost power due to running Eventuri, chances are its is because they are dumb.
The flange usually has replaceable gaskets and the entire exhaust hangs on rubber hangers.. the only other metal contact I could think of are the nuts and bolts and those can be replaced, I believe.. so nothing permanent to worry about?
If your springs came with height adjustable spring collars/seats you do have the option to get the car corner balanced with you in the car. However, most lowerings springs alone will not come with them and you're bascially playing with luck. And it is very important to torque the suspension...
