Also note that tires, while they may show they are the same sizes, some have much wider shoulders. I found summer Continental's and BS summer Potenza's run wider so if that wide look is what you're after, might be good to studies those as well.
Potenza's are pretty heavy though.
Not to forget corner balancing.. one needs a special scale for that which most people don’t have at home.. Height adjustability for just looks is for the Civic ric0r crowd…
I kept mine stock with the v2 splitter and milder spacers. No regrets. I've lowered plenty of cars in the past and knowing the potential side effects of doing just lowering springs I decided against lowering my current cars.
+1 That would be the first place I would look.
At the end of the day OP, what are you going to do? Return the car? Probably not.. So why not just get past this and enjoy the rest of your life.. Yes it sucks but it is not unusual to get low mpg while the car is brand new even if the...
Has your code held okay in your HomeLink mirror? Because when I tried it on my other car with the same HomeLink, it worked okay for maybe 10 times and it lost the code. That was one of the many reasons why I started using the app, and then with AppleWatch compatibility, was just way cool...
Sounds good. I use to do this often too on my cars, and my garage has a heater so no worries about plastic snapping (as I once did on a Civic in my youth working on the POS outside in 25F weather.. )
My Supra has been under the cover since late September. She always hibernates 6-7...
What a faking retard. I mentioned earlier about hosing down the car to accelerate the melting and even wash it if desired. Hose water is usually connected to a spout on the exterior of a house and we're talking about folks who haven't dealt with snow or freezing temps. Just a...
I was talking to one of my buddies in Foley yesterday, but he's from the upper midwest so aware of freeze-proofing his water spouts outside his home. If your area is now prone to freezing due to climate change, you might want to look into freeze-proofing your spouts. There is great risk that...
I have no plan to sell, but if I was forced to sell, it would be due to major mechanical or electrical problems with the car (major as in $15K in repairs or something) or a fairly significant damage caused by an accident.
Beside me in love with my GR Supra still, there is no other car I want at...
Yeah, just let nature take its course. If it's warmer than 35F and sunny, you can hose it down to accelerate the melting.. maybe even wash it if you'd like.
When I encounter severe delivery delays I usually just instruct the seller for refund and dispute through my credit card company. This way you already explained your position to both the seller and credit card institution that what you want is a refund and not a shipment from the inadequate...
I usually submit a dispute claim to my credit card company regardless I use paypal (which is tied) by the 10th day if not resolved by then. The store and credit institution can work out the finances over on their end, and I am not liable to pay for the crap.
I have their system on my Golf-R and I would not buy another Borla for sure. Sounds fine, but fitment was pretty horrible and took a lot of work to make them look right. Up to this point the other pretty lame fit and finish (and cosmetic weld quality) was Milltek on another car to give you an...
Back spacing is a tricky thing to check caliper clearance. The shape of the spoke ultimately determines whether the manufactuer's specified backspacing works with your calipers or not.. my STI has wheels with like 2mm clearance.
