I think people are thinking my race story somehow has to do with the title of this thread ?
I didn’t and wouldn’t say I “smoked” the GT. It doesn’t matter if you win by an inch or a mile..
I did a roll with a 5.0 the other day and we were neck-and-neck. 40 roll up to 115, we both shifted and our super fast trans pulled ahead to a car length at 125.
Mustang had ethanol tune, intake, and exhaust vs my stock 21
My friend has a hellcat redeye and he runs 11.6 stock. My c8 runs 11.3 (300 hp less) and the Supra runs 11.9 ALL STOCK
those boats have a really bad time off the line without slicks
I went in for an oil change today + brake recall. I had front camera error codes because of a problem with the installation of my laser jammer system. I told the techs to not worry about that bit as I will fix that myself. They did listen and leave it alone (rarity) but the brake software wasn’t...
Update: had my oil change today. Switched to 0w30 while keeping warranty as Toyota told me on phone. Tech measured my oil out of the car and found 1.5 quarts missing. I tested the oil levels before the change and it showed 20% above min line.
i beat on it a little bit on the way home and oil...
I was torn between turbulence grey and red. Thought the red would be cool to match the brake calipers + red accents inside. When I saw it in person I changed my mind. The red is very dull, no metallic at all. I’m happy with the gray
Oil just above the min line now. Every drive it gets lower. Started it up and checked the tips and seen the typical black covered pipes, but this time the left one had liquid in it. Is this oil? What does this mean for me?
Guess what else is 120k and doesn’t have a stick? New GTR. I assume “real" car enthusiast also don’t like that car too then?
no ferraris, no lambos, mclarens, Acura nsx etc etc
A car enthusiast likes cars, a manual enthusiast only likes cars that have a manual
I posted a couple days ago that I was 1/3 down on the green oil line. Went for a REGULAR drive today and now I’m half down.
Scheduling the oil change tomorrow to make the switch to bmw 0w30
hope I’m not screwed since I plan to mod out and rip my warranty to shreds soon..:what:
5 passes, back to back with burnouts. I have a c8 too and that car can get domestic abuse daily and still drive like it’s brand new.. getting scared of the bmw
hopefully switching to 0w-30 this week fixes it
Welp I didn’t want to ever have to post on here but I knew what I was in for.
06/21 build date, easy break in till 1400. Never had any oil loss until I beat it on the drag strip (ran 11.9 btw)
currently at 1850 miles, stock oil. Is this Normal consumption?
