^I don't see what the big deal is. Common sense that a hotter Supra is on its way. Other automakers do this as well. While the 8 series was testing BMW also put out events, teasers, and press release for the upcoming M8. ;)

I know A70 says the Supra won't be using this motor, but your B58 does come in both 335hp and 355hp. It could be he was just talking about the Z4 and or got some of his info crisscross?
On the looks department I think the Supra wins hands down. While I do think the new Z4 will be better looking than the old model it still looks very plain Jane to me. For me the best looking Z4 was the E86. I have a thing for the Bangle bimmers. :p
I was told the reason the US didn't get the ST205 GT-Four Celica was because Toyota USA thought it would have undercut / stole sales from the NA A80 Supra. :dunno:

It looks like the Z4 will also be a 2020 year model. Bimmerpost just posted an order and price guide for the 2019s and the Z4 was not on the list.
