  1. Who has highest mileage? / Supra miles

Have you checked your mirror adjustment switch? The passenger mirror will only tilt when the switch is in one position (with the driver mirror selected). It's actually a nice feature as you can turn it off and on as needed. Yours may very well be broken, but I just thought I'd ask in case you...
  2. Who has highest mileage? / Supra miles

    WOW! That's a busy 2.5 months!
  3. Make the Supra quieter on highways

Without a doubt, the biggest variable in this equation (assuming stock wheels and tires that is) is going road conditions and tire wear. Some tires get louder as they wear and others get quieter. I'm not sure where the PSS sits in that regard... but mine are 14K miles in... so definitely...
  4. 2021 Supra A91 screen brightness

Since most (if not all) adjustments made by Bimmercode are reversible (and are options already present in the default code) - it would be a very, very difficult argument to make for invalidating the warranty. About the only possible approach to that would be invalidating the warranty only on...
  5. Want to tune, so which year should I buy?

So in other words... it's a tiny bit of a payback for taking the depreciation hit of getting a 2020 before they announced the power bump in the 2021. :p (Or at least a benefit to getting one of the first 2021's to hit the lots).
  6. Want to tune, so which year should I buy?

You'd also have to be wary of any units which were updated by the dealership which I believe would then lock them even if they were "born" early enough. I'm not 100% positive on that, but I'm pretty sure I read a few threads of people with unlocked units which were locked after the update.
  7. Make the Supra quieter on highways

You are correct about the difference in DBMeter Pro - I have mine calibrated to a +6dB on A-weighted measurements - which is what the difference was between the app on my phone and my Reed wand (naturally there's some vairance in the adjustment I'm sure so that's probably still a +/- 3dBA at...
  8. Wouldnt Rev after starting

I quite like the looks of it... completely different purpose and design (muscle vs. sport) but honestly the biggest issue I have with the Challenger is manufacturer (reliability). I know they've gotten much better than the past... but the Mopar of the 80's left such an impression on me, I'm...
  9. Make the Supra quieter on highways

Just did an informal test on mine on the way to the office... it was raining, but with limited traffic (I work nights) and DBMeter Pro on my iPhone showed: MIN: 63dBA MAX: 74dBA AVG: 66dBA That was at 80 MPH (cruise set @ 82), on 38PSI tires, stock interior over 5 minutes. It included a...
  10. H&R Springs W/ Cusco F/ Sway bar installed ( It's a new car)

Looks great... love the wheel caps and the powder coat also. ;)
  11. Make the Supra quieter on highways

Same here... it's certainly at least seems comparable to my 2020 RX350 in that regard, maybe even a bit better. The Supra has a bit more of the road (naturally) and a bit less of the wind (also naturally)... but overall it's pretty quiet. I'll have to take some measurements just to see now...
  12. Make the Supra quieter on highways

If your MKV is truly much louder than your FR-S and the 435 vert then I'd wonder if something is wrong somewhere. I've driven both and they were (subjectively at least) much louder than the Supra at highway speeds. Now I wish I'd measured them for some objective analysis - because...
  13. Make the Supra quieter on highways

Not going to be a cheap, easy, nor quick fix I'd say... but multiple benefits to be had by following many of the suggestions in @tadda 's audio hacks thread. Ultimately most of what you're describing would be somewhat mitigated by damping material lining all of the interior metals and doing the...
  14. 2022 Model Year Toyota GR Supra

I sure hope not... because I would definitely be getting that and eating the depreciation on mine. However, I have faith (and history on my side) that Toyota will do no such thing as giving people what they really want - certainly not all at once.
  15. Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra

Although it might grow on me, currently it's a total "butterface" in my book - I'd gladly pay more if they'd just left the 370Z sheet metal on it and changed the rest.
  16. Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra

I agree re the power only being present in the Nismo trim and I think the price estimate is about right as well (but it's still a ways off and the global economy might change that). Nissan is an odd fish in that sense. Their Infiniti brand seems to be getting cheaper and less powerful as far...
  17. Wouldnt Rev after starting

Same here... maybe we've got the "broken" ones? If so I'm happy (despite never cold-revving outside of testing to see if affected by this). Even after sitting all night outside at freezing temps - it happily pops right up to 3-4K with a light blip on the throttle. Between this and the oil...
  18. Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra

I'm a huge Porsche fan as well - I don't think anyone that is enthusiastic about driving (whether competitively or just for fun) can fault their product in that aspect. I even found the Macan to be a delight - and I hate driving SUV's with a passion (but love the convenience of them). On the...
  19. Random cold start or none at all

Might be worth it to get a OBD BT adapter and Bimmerlink or similar software - at least then you could just tell the dealership what code it was throwing to get them started. ;) And while you're at it you can grab Bimmercode and disable ASD (fake exhaust) and a few other "features" to make life...
  20. Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra

Owned a Cayman prior to my RC-F... so there's a bit of a 'lag' between the two, but at least it was a 2015 with the 6C boxer rather than the 4C turbo (although I test drove a couple of those prior to getting the Supra... which should tell you something). In brief: Much nicer interior -...
