I have absolutely no inside information so treat this random speculation for what it is. The vague statements remind me quite a bit of those leaked from Honda insiders during the development of the CRZ - which was interesting to me at the time as my "project car" was a swapped CRX turbo setup...
I think most likely the hasp (clamp, claw, whatever you call the latch thingy) partially closed and so it can't "grab" because it's already closed. I'd try the trunk open button on the remote, and if that doesn't work pull the emergency release a bit more and see if you can get it open. It...
I think it's normal in his case to only be looking forward - but of course, I remember his pre-release A90 comments... which were a bit different than they are now. ;) However, I feel pleased in some sense with his "design purpose" talk at least as far as buying now over later. As someone who...
Can't help on the fitment, but respect to anyone that uses the statement "a fairly wide tire" in reference to 11" width wheels. I'd say 305's easy, maybe even 315's - but I'd definitely be worried about rubbing with the latter (and possibly with the 305's even).
That really would be a dream. Hell, if the Z4 wasn't a convertible and didn't feel so "boat-ish" when I drove it... I might have cut out the middle-man altogether. But I really, really, really hate convertibles. :puke:
Yeah, if you only have one Toyota dealership within 100 miles or more from your location... you're pretty much at their mercy. Unfortunately, that also applies to any warranty service you might require as well... Although I would definitely prefer to not drive 25 miles across town to get...
Well, they already have a car for that... but it's definitely not the Supra. ;) Honestly, if that were the case for me I'd just get a nice 'rolla hatch with a stick and save up for a couple years - there will likely be some very low mileage used MKV's going for $25K-$30K which mostly did...
Totally agree... although if things continue progressing as they have, they're not going to have much of a choice. My hope on the transparency side mostly comes from non-governmental sources which are now more directly involved... I'm not naive enough to expect anything from the CCP itself. :nono:
Does anyone know how China-dependent the production is? Obviously I'm talking mostly about raw materials and electronic components - the actual assembly isn't dependent at all I would assume. GM is already warning of COVID-19 related shortages causing major disruptions in their manufacturing...
It really is a great color... if I hadn't wanted something really bright this time around I'd probably be really bitter about that coming out later. ;)
I had a Cayman (base) and really liked it in many ways, but it was way too "stripped" so it was a very short lived relationship - which ended...
Probably the simplest solution... although I may have been known to spend 8 hours detailing my engine bay at one time. Granted I was much younger then... I'm pretty sure my back would force me to stop at just a couple hours now.
There had better be... I hope it's $20K... :p j/k
There are a lot of unknowns here for sure... however that (bold statement) is 100% a certainty. Whether they replaced the battery or not is almost immaterial in the face of the fact that they said "you'll probably have to replace it every few months"... even the cheapest batteries at WalMart...
I'm just going to buy the Cusco set and have it powder coated black. Can't see having a single blue accent in an otherwise black and yellow car. Although since there's zero heat concerns (well to the point that you'd need temp resistant paint at least) maybe I'll just paint them myself for the...
That's not a dealership that would ever get my money, no matter how much I wanted the car. Sadly the one closest to me (and the largest by volume here) is one of those... shadiest shitshow I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Since we were never closer than $10K apart on negotiating...
I would figure that stock DP + Touring + resonated would be nearly as "mild" as stock... just with a little bit better tone (lower) based on the combinations provided in the videos at least. I think the sweet-spot is either Track + resonated or Touring non-resonated... but that's JMHO.
On the resale value side - although I can't guarantee the future obviously... I see it playing out similar to most sports cars with limited sales volumes. They will have massive depreciation out of the gate... including the MY21's. That's the reality of the segment... there are (apparently...
