A lot of that is alignment related. Mine was super squirrely from the factory. A simple alignment fixed a lot of that. She still likes to wiggle coming out of the turn, but it's very predictable and mostly because I like to play with it and mash the throttle too fast and too early. And that's on...
Standard equipment for the 2023, protects from rain, sun, and Z owners when they're furiously spewing in your face how the Z is a better "driver's car". :p
Well if anything these honest reviews, so not SG's, might stop dealers from asking too much ADM. Because if they price them past the competition, this will be the last Z we'll see.
It would be at least 5 to 10k more expensive. The whole point of the twins is affordable entry into the RWD sportscar market.
The 2.0 Supra is exactly what you want, a GR86 with a B48. But instead of it being in a GR86 wrapper, it's in a Supra wrapper.
If you do that, where does it end?
"The Supra is a Ferrari F8 killer, having less performance for less money"
Makes no sense.
The R35 was a supercar killer when it launched, because it was actually faster than some higher tiered cars when it did.
The only thing the Z is killing is it's...
I'd think the Supra wheelbase is too short to be sedan based. You already sit on top of the rear axle as is. Add another row of seats and you're behind the axle.
Sure. This is a normal thing. Lots of companies share platforms. If you look at the Dodge Challenger and Charger, they're built on a Mercedes platform. Nothing new.
There's a difference between having an opinion, and using it as a cop-out. He doesn't say "even though the Supra is the better car, I prefer the Z because of blah blah blah" he simply stated "the Z is the better driver's car" which is utter nonsense. If the Z won some categories, I could agree...
It happens all the time across every brand. I always go over my cars with a tech to make sure everything is done. The pucks, software updates, etc.
And get rid of that crap oil. Put some good stuff in there. Your engine will thank you.
Of course, there will always be something better. Especially with different drivers having different styles and different preferences. I like my cars on the nose so that's how I set them up, others like them more neutral, etc. I HATE understeer, so while I loved my STI in the winter, I hated...
I think it's fine. My "home" track is Mid-Ohio, and I even leave the suspension in the soft setting on that track. All the elevation changes especially in Madness, going over the crest while turning, the car behaves beautifully.
