Yeah exactly. We'll see in a few days. Now that the streak is over, there's no pressure to keep developing this year's car to get the perfect season, so it might turn out to be a blessing.
Worst possible SC timing for RBR. Starting on the hards was a bad call knowing the SC is likely to come out. Max made a great recovery, but a podium was on had they started on mediums and followed the rest in pit strategies.
Hamilton making up his own track again, Russell over reaching...
Max will have to pull something out of his hat, like Miami. But I think it's not going to happen. Their race pace wasn't that much better than the rest. If there's no rain, I don't think it'll happen.
You can hook up in the trunk just fine. Mine has been for 3 years. Just make sure you put the negative on a grounded stud, not the negative on the battery. That way it doesn't bypass the car itself. Super easy. The CTEK comes with a quick disconnect that peaks out from under the trunk cover, so...
You might have a pad deposit on your rotor. Go on a quiet road, and brake HARD from 70mph to 5mph WITHOUT STOPPING 3 or 4 times in a row, then drive around for 10 minutes letting them cool down.
I get that, it is annoying when it happens, not saying it isn't. But it's something built into the car. It's on the BMW forums too. It's a temporary limp mode. But why, who knows. When it happens to me, I just hold steady throttle, I don't go full power, and after a second or two it wakes up and...
Like I said, it's not a problem. Mine has done it too. It's not dangerous, or an issue. You push the throttle, there's a slight delay, and you go. Usually it's shortly after starting the car, it happens once, and then not again during the trip.
Rolling into an intersection is nonsense too...
The relevance is I've had this conversation numerous times in the last 3 years, and you've been here 3 seconds pretending you know something. And you're not worth the trouble. Take what I said, or not. Doesn't matter to me.
There's no fix, because it's not an issue. Never has been. It's a design feature.
When it happens, just hold partial throttle until the power comes after a second or two, and be on your way.
He'll get bored. After 2028 if he's really close to the records and the car is still competitive he might stay, but I see him going to compete in endurance racing after that. This dominance is fun for a year or two, but you have to have competition at some point.
