Vettel hit a hard decline when he was at Ferrari. He hit the ground running but Ferrari was on the way down. He became a parent, and when drivers become parents they start thinking about the risks. And when they do that, they lose a half a second a lap. He had a slower car, and in order to make...
The King and Queen of The Netherlands just casually chilling with Max during Alonso's interview. The King is a huge sports supporter. World Cups, Olympics, he goes to support his athletes wherever they are.
F1TV is worth every penny. Especially considering I had cable just for F1, I actually saved money. And you don't have to listen to the idiots on Sky anymore.
I can see Massa's point though. If the Singapore results were deleted, he'd be Champion. If the Abu Dhabi 2021 results were deleted, Max would still be Champion regardless.
Having said that, Massa was never World Champion material. He was just riding the Ferrari high at the time. A better...
Kamui is a great driver. He was fun to watch in F1. If you have F1TV go into the archive and watch a few races he was in. His last year in F1 he got a podium in Suzuka I believe. Forgot the year though.
EXACTLY! 3 years, 10,000 miles and the only time my car drives in auto is when the wife takes it.
You don't need a transmission tune if you do the shifting ?
You need to concern yourself with QUALITY of sound, not QUANTITY. It's not a Civic. That said, I put an AWE Resonated Touring catback on mine, and that woke it right up. Great sound, and when you're not it, you can still have a normal conversation. If you want a little louder, get the...
Never. And whenever someone pulls up to maybe have a look, I'll give them the "I'm not stock" crackle downshift, and that's enough to deter any dumbasses.
There is no normal mode in my car. Only Sport. My car is coded to start in Sport mode, start/stop is disabled, and valves are always open. Except for the suspension, everything is in sport mode, steering, shifts, etc.
Mine is my daily too. Still no excuse to put it in boring mode
Let's be generous and say the car is worth $50k stock, it's more like $45k but whatever, $35k on top is ridiculous.
It's not an A91, so nothing special, and you're not going to tell me those parts were $50k new which would warrant a $35k used price on top of the car.
That's because Americans love to call themselves "World" Champions at sports only we/they play. Basketball, Baseball, NASCAR, Indycar, etc. Nobody outside the U.S. gives a crap about that. You go onto the world stage, F1, Soccer, etc then things are drastically different.
Indy 500 promoters...
Fast is relative. F1 cars are made for cornering. They experience fighter pilot type G forces. Ovals are pretty much never-ending straights. They modified an F1 car, think it was a Honda, for straight line speed and it hit 260something. If F1 cars were purpose built for ovals, I'm sure they'd do...
And things like these are why American drivers just don't cut it in F1. They don't get the "education" you get in European series. If they want a good American driver, they need to start really young, and race in Europe. Coming from Indy cars they're just too far behind.
It IS your right foot. By your responses I can tell you think you're all that, and the car is showing you, that you aren't. If you drive normal, the car will behave normal. If you stomp on the throttle instead of roll on, which you should've learned with 30 years of "experience", then the tail...
