It is harsh on Nyck, but this is the big leagues. You either perform. Or you're out. He's an F2 and FE Champion, and he should've been better. It's not like he never raced open wheeled cars before.
I don't know, but I just read his best lap from today would've put him P2 next to Max in qualifying. So that's something.
But, it wasn't known what compound tire he was on. Since the British GP used the 3 hardest compounds, it could've been a faster tire. But still, that's impressive when you...
We'll find out soon enough, but I'm sure De Vries is out. Which is really a shame. He did so good at Monza last year.
I doubt we'll see Ric in the AT. I'm more inclined to Liam Lawson.
Who knows.
I would've loved to see Mick Schumacher in that car instead.
Was a boring race. The worst of the year imo. Only saving grace was the safety car. Other than McLaren's great start and the SC there was really nothing to it.
5 times in a row you can't claim circumstances anymore. And Albon qualified in a Williams after Perez did. That car is either really hard to drive in mixed conditions, and Max just has a better handle on it, or Perez just isn't good. Max might get an upgrade before Perez does, but other than...
@Josh/AWE I love your exhaust on my Supra, 2,5 years and still going strong!
However, I have a GR Corolla Circuit Edition on the way, and I'm naturally shopping parts. Can you give me any info on how the exhaust is coming along? Layout? Center only? Sides only? Center and sides? I hope you...
You should get F1TV so you can listen to the alternate commentary by Jolyon Palmer and David Coulthard. Much better than those idiots on Sky. Brundle is good though but the others are ridiculous.
No hate, very entertaining. Hypocrisy always is. This has been a rough weekend for him. First he gets bitch slapped by Max's comments about developing next year's car, then Max bitch slapped him again in Sprint Qualifying making him too slow to get into SQ2, then Toto bitch slaps him with a...
Good race, decent recovery by Perez. Once again showing the difference between drivers how effortlessly Max passed the Ferrari's while Checo has to really fight for it. It's those last few ounces of talent that make the difference.
Classic Whaaaaamilton crying on the radio about others driving...
Hulkenberg has always been a good driver, just very unlucky in teams. He was supposed to get Hamilton's spot at Mercedes if he declined, so if things were different, we'd be talking about 6x WDC Hulkenberg, and 1x WDC Hamilton.
