I wonder if the rear wheels can clear the front calipers on the 3.0L? One of the reasons why some cars don’t get donuts is because it just confuses the driver what to do when the donut does not clear the calipers.

It is, just not constuctive.. :hmm: I don’t think I’ve ever activated the auto brake going forward.. only in reverse backing out of my garage as the sensor confuses itself when the sun hits it in certain angles.

I guess one could move them left to right as they are asymmetrical.. directional outside. :dunno:

It is a $60k car.. I’d just pay it, enjoy the car. I mean if someone can fix it for you at a more economical price, go for it, but life is too short to be worried about $5k.

Pay for the repair, get your car back, then legal action if necessary.
