Low frequency horn installed.. now buttoning her back up. :headbang:
Update.. finished. oh man, sounds so good.. Good to be normal...
Here are my foam ‘geta’ tools for helping me remove and install back the bumper by myself.
Thanks man, I will tap both wires too then. Seems safer to do that. I got plenty of wire and space so no biggie.
Now just waiting for my horn to arrive.. will finish tomorrow.
So I got the bumper off and making the wire harness for the low freq horn.
The factory red-white wire is the power I am assuming..
I was expecting the brown to give me 0V with a known ground and infinite for red-white.. but both give me 0V. :hmm:
Shall I tap both wires? One for + one for -..
I bought a Fiamm low frequency horn. Maybe some day I will have enough courage to remove the front bumper on my Supra as I have removed bumpers on all my hobby cars thus far.. huh?
Wow.. sorry to see this. OP, I would check with your insurance.. Maybe you can claim property damage, have that garbage removed and repainted.
I know I'm one of the few that don't drive this car much... I have a black with zero chips after 2 years and run no ppf. My other cars run ppf...
When I engine brake I tap the gas just enough to give it a slight blip. (hit - paddle, then gently tap and let go the gas a split second after).. I do this while braking too, like I'm heel/toe-ing the car. It does wonders to smooth out the downshift making this AT actually pretty fun to...
The original formula is carnauba based and it dries a lot faster and does not smear making buffing a lot less work.

Mine feels pretty smooth. No abrupt jerky.. but this is a sports car, not sure how smooth you're expecting.
I think driving CVT on other cars makes us get noticieably more sensitive to shift shock. (?)
I drove my Supra for a nice weekend drive and got some fresh fuel near the end of the drive. I don't drive this car much so mixed some Stabil360 in there as usual.
Cleaned her up real nice after I got her home. Ive been a long time Griots SpeedShine user and recently got their new...
Mine is a 2020 Premium and has wireless CarPlay. The display area appears to enlarge after the recall reflash, but I have no plan to get that done so don't know.
Those RHD cars are weird cause the turn signal and wiper stalks are reversed and when you want to turn right, you end up saying hello face to face with on coming traffic before you crash. :dunno:
That image you posted is not a good representation as my stock 2020's gap is even and parallel through the entire arch.. and the wheels are running spacers on mine so the sidewall is closer to the fender which should emphase gap even more.. which it doesn't.
Just saying.., those wheels look...
If you look at a 2020-2022 side view you will notice even wheel/tire gap along the wheel arch both front and rear. The 2023 has a gaping void at the top of the tire arch.. That looks lifted..
