I can't see the S2000 going from 237hp in 2009 to 63hp today. Besides, the S660 is a Kei car while the S2000 is a compact sports car. IMO, if Honda does bring the S660 to the US it will be a cheap entry level car to fight the sub 86 car with.
I cant wait for test mules of the FT1. WingsofWar did a pretty good job unmasking the 86. I hope he'll do the same when we get spy shots of the FT1 ;)

its just a weird one off concept; most likely M4 based and IMO has nothing to do with the FT-1 & Z5.
its also worth nothing that a BMW spokes person has said the two co developed cars wont share sheet metal. unlike with the 86/BRZ.
you do realize that most concept cars are usually shells over an existing chassis. FT1 concept is actually based on a rolling Lexus RC chassis.
besides, the doors on both BMWs are the same shape. not to mention it has a long cabin like other luxury cruiser like the C class, RC, 4-series and ect...
i was being a little over the top. of course Toyota contributed more than just the funds, but yeah a lot of people think that Subaru did most of the work. there is or at least was a huge debate over at FT86club on the matter.
i believe Toyota also provided the auto tranny?
doesnt BMW underrate their HP? does anyone know how much power the M4 really makes? ad some electric motors for a higher total combine HP? or maybe Toyota will add its own touch to the S55 some other way? idk, it just seems that MT has been right so far. so who am i to doubt their report.
the M3/M4 are heavier and more luxury. i dont think people are going to be cross shopping between a lighter sportier Supra and the M3/M4.
so far MT has been spot on when it comes to FT1's development. so for right now ill believe what they are reporting. BMW's I6 with around 485-518hp and 2,900lbs.
