That just shows how good this season is so far. That even a track as boring as Paul Ricard provided a great race. Rain forecast for Austria so far. Can't wait!
It happens every time. There's a runaway team that gets it right, because of limited testing it takes years for other teams to catch up, and when they finally do, the rules completely change and they start from scratch. The good thing is this time around, that the engines stay the same. So in...
They're too extreme for being just off track. If they were way outside the runoff area, sure. But you go a little wide, you're on them. And you're guaranteed to damage the car. So too much for me.
Yeah I was a die hard Ferrari fan, from the pre Schumacher years, through the Alonso years, but it diminished a lot when Alonso left. Love Ferrari, always will, but I don't like what the team has become after Luca di Montezemolo left. Same with McLaren after Ron Dennis left. I'm glad they're...
That's a tough one! Lando is well ahead of Danny Ric, but Sainz and LeClerc are pretty close in performance. Ferrari is weaker at regular circuits though.... I say Ferrari stays ahead, but by the skin of their teeth. If Ric has turned a corner with that car though, McLaren all the way.
Odds say Williams. It has 2 experienced drivers while HAAS has 2 rookies.
The Mercedes of any of the last 7 seasons. Particularly the last 2. That car was just incredible. Nobody could touch it.
My favorite? Schumacher's F2002 Ferrari.
Now, 25 years later, most are modified, sure, because tuners collect them. Back when they were new that wasn't the case. They were driven around bone stock for the most part. People didn't even like them all that much until F&F came along.
My A91 isn't tunable, and it doesn't bother me one...
Makes sense the M2 gets a manual, that's their entry level M car, kinda what the GR86 is for Toyota. BMW is just a more costly entry lol. Next few years will be great for car enthusiasts. New Z, New GR86, New STI, Supra refresh, New Lotus, another GR model, New Boxster/Cayman. Gonna be great.
Couple key points though: the auto in the A80 was the ancient slow-as-f@#k transmission. Not a current day performance auto. If the mk5 got the same type of auto the mk4 did, we ALL would pick a manual. So that comparison doesn't fly.
Here's some numbers to put it in perspective, the Ferrari 360...
