Nobody went full speed. Impossible to tell. Mercedes have played this "underdog" game for 8 years, and then then go 1-2 the first race. I hope you're right, but it won't be a surprise if Mercedes is on the front row.
HAAS will still be at the rear. All this shows is how slow the rest are going. Mercedes car is very interesting. I wonder if Ferrari's objection will gain traction seeing it's illegal to make aerodynamic mirror mounts.
Right, exactly. It's just funny people are too stupid/biased/ignorant (take your pick) to realize there's more to a car than horsepower numbers.
"OMG the Z is better because it has (on paper) 18 more horsepower for $10k less!"
But they forget (conveniently) the interior, brakes, tires, diff...
Just a video game. I remember building a 1400hp Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 on GT3 lol.

"Sure"
True, I saw the Z at the Cleveland Auto Show yesterday, but it was locked obviously. But it's not a far stretch to say that if you want a BMW level of quality interior, you'd have to step up to Infiniti.
Side note, I did sit in the new GR86 and that was surprisingly nice. Roomier than the old...
I'm more interested to see if the rear suspension will last a whole race with that constant up and down effect. And when it goes, it'll go at the end of a straight resulting in a very high speed crash. Like you mentioned, if that happens in Eau Rouge, that could be catastrophic. As for a fix, my...
Unlike the U.S. that just waltzes into any country it wants, to spread a little "freedumb" lol.
"Don't mind us, we're just gonna hang out here looking for some WMD's that don't exist"
Exactly. And the below MSRP sales were at the height of the pandemic. I ordered my car before it all started here in the U.S. (February/March 2020)
Edit: February 17th
