  1. Traction Concerns

That has to do with torque, not horsepower. The torque in the Supra comes on early, and hard. Peak torque is at 1600 RPM. The naturally aspirated engine in your 911 probably had peak torque much higher in the RPM band, so that's a lot easier for tires/tyres to manage. As for increasing...
  2. Official Oil consumption thread: Car excessively burning oil?

Well said! You'll always have "special" people that buy performance cars, and then are surprised when they do performance things like burn oil, and have lower than expected MPG, and have to buy tires more often, and so on. It comes with the territory. Don't like it, the Camry is sold on the same...
  3. What did you do to your Supra today?

They're fantastic tires. You'll like them.
  4. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

"Upgrade" by taking OFF the Brembo's, the Electronic Diff, the forged wheels, the premium tires, and replacing it with cheaper, smaller, inferior parts.... Upgrade indeed!
  5. What did you do to your Supra today?

Walked past it to shovel the snow in the driveway
  6. anybody know how to get more top speed out of a 2022 3.0 supra

I should've elaborated. It's 163mph indicated, but with the built in deviation, you're actually doing around 155mph, which is right around 250kph.
  7. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

You did feel the "need" because I said nothing to you, or about you. I said something about your precious Z, and you got all pissy. You can mute, new to this? No, the term is indeed, Grand Touring. Mr know it all actually has a Supra, maybe you should buy one (if you can) so you can speak...
  8. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

Oh boy, where to start lol. Just wanted to get you going because you felt the need to single me out, again. mission accomplished. Ugh you know nothing do you? GT in GT3 means the exact same thing. GRAND TOURING. The 3 just means it's in that race class for GT cars made into racecars. That's...
  9. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

Yeah the orange side is much better.
  10. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

P.S. the definition of a GT is being a "crazy ass asphalt eating monster" that's literally what they're for. And imagine that, an automotive forum where people talk crap about the "competition"... unheard of!
  11. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

Exactly! Don't mind @F1 Silver Arrows he's still salty from Abu Dhabi. Speaking of which, I don't hate the Z. At all. Sure it's ugly as sin, in principle an old decrepit woman with too many botox injections and plastic surgeries, but they have their place too.
  12. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

Porsche has the same buffeting "issues" on a $150k GT3 lol. They haven't fixed it, because they don't want to, or need to. They make the car as slippery as possible with the windows up. If that induces buffeting with the window down, so be it.
  13. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

So not as fast, not as responsive, and not as sharp..... what a "sportscar"
  14. Manual Supra pricing

Wrong. The Supra is a bargain at MSRP. What do you think it would've cost with a BMW badge? Go price a Z4. Ever sat in a Mustang or a Camaro? That lovely door clang, the cheap ass plastics, and so on.
  15. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

Everything gets marked up. The CTR was, the new one will be, the new WRX/STI will be, the Cayman GT4 is, the GT4 RS will be, and on and on and on. As long as there are dumbasses willing to pay, they'll do it.
  16. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

Cheap shit for a cheap shit price  remember you get what you pay for.
  17. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

It's simple, if they get a piece of every Supra sold, they'll allow anything. Money is money.
  18. Official Oil consumption thread: Car excessively burning oil?

It says that because of the EPA. They want that thin slosh in there for MPG reasons. Not protection. You're absolutely fine running a 0W-30 or in most cases, a 5W-30 oil.
  19. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

It's just funny how far off you are. All those (wrong) opinions and you don't even have a Supra. The M2 can barely keep up with a Supra, so how is an M240i "the same or more" value for money lol. And Nissan out doing Toyota?? Nissan made excuses from day 1 that it's not about performance or lap...
