Really? Replying after 5 months? Bored on the Mopar forums with the other inbred, mullet wearing, shake and bake crowd? Show me that recall on this particular "issue" expert
The good news is the engines stay the same. So if there's a standout team, it's because of aero, and that's quickly copied by the others. Mercedes had their dominance because of their engines for the most part, which are obviously hard to copy.
Exactly.
Russell has been walking, talking, and posting like a good Mercedes lapdog so he'll be just like Bottas if Hamilton is still around. He's been properly groomed and instructed by Toto. He won't dare to take points off Hamilton. If Hamilton retires, that'll be icing on the cake. Toto...
Yeah I'm gonna call BS on that, for a few reasons.
1. When Lewis was being "gracious" all eyes were on him. All the camera's, everything. And we all know how much Lewis loves the spotlight.
2. Instead of pulling onto the grid after the race in the P2 spot, he parked it in the pit, and he knows...
The rules were followed. That's why the stewards threw out the appeals. That's why Toto begged for no Safety Car, because he knew what could happen. Mercedes had the better car, and Red Bull beat them on strategy.
Mercedes officially withdrew their appeal. About time. Either Jean Todt told them where to stick it, or the higher ups at Mercedes-Benz took matters into their hands. The brand wasn't looking any better with the team's principal manipulative unsportsmanlike behavior.
People are being ridiculous and blowing this way out of proportion.
It comes down to this: Red Bull pitted for softs, Mercedes didn't. They dropped the ball. Masi was within the rules for how he controlled the safety car. ALL teams agreed beforehand that they wanted to finish the race under...
The 18's look incredible. Has taken way too long to get rid of the 13's. Only thing I'm not excited about are the wheel covers. Think they look crap.
I doubt there's more weight. F1 has a way to make anything work. And I doubt a few extended spokes weigh more than a couple inches of sidewall...
Crazy roller-coaster. Lewis extremely lucky (again) that his car stayed together after rear ending Max. Add a little more FIA assistance (of course) with a penalty and ending the VSC just in the right spot where Lewis could stay close for DRS and blatantly giving positions to Lewis during red...
Could very well be the title defining moment. If Max didn't have bad luck, he wouldn't have any luck at all.
Lewis getting all the help from the FIA as usual again too with the yellow flags.
