I got mine from Stone Mountain Toyota ('22 3.0 Premium.). Personally had a negative experience with their Supra tech being unavailable multiple days after purchasing the car, sales person meraciously disappearing the day my car was supposed to be ready, service dept manager pretty much just flat...
I honestly doubt the guy still has the ECU. Likely sold to someone who wanted to clone theirs for ecutek or other.
No information on what Toyota will send you. At least you got a great price.
Hi all,
apologies if this is posted in the wrong place, I'm more of a lurker than a poster. I've been reading up on a few threads related to coding and was wondering if anyone had dumped the firmware and or filesystem of the headunit for the Supra.
I'm more used to REing malware and not headunit...
From what I understand it's being pulled via the AAIDrive app.
I'm traveling this week; it'll be a blank entry available in the Connected Services menu
I tested a fork for Walter Huf last night.
If you load up Bimmercode and search for ENTWICKLER_MENUE in the headunit and change it to Aktiv, you gain pretty much the same functionality as BMW/Mini :)
Note you'll need to use the APK here for now...
Seeing it stationary on the car without the front plate? Love it.
Seeing it go down the road with the front plate? Ehh... Don't love it as much. The headlight area just looks improperly balanced now.
I was strongly considering it bc my bumper is torn up, but now I'm not so sure. Especially if...
The Supra is very impressive for what it is. I've kinda got several gripes with that video (mainly the 3.0 base model is effectively the same as the A91 variant they used but you know. It was pretty much just artificially inflating the price of the Supra).
The 3.0/premium are both amazing value...
I don't believe so - i know MHD can do it as part of their tuning software.
I've found that it'll throw a CEL if the downpipe isn't up to temp and you drive it a bit too soon. Specifically "oxygen sensor after catalytic converter, heating: internal resistance too high"
