Shouldn't need to - can install it without doing so, just need to get the right angle amount of force . It's just much easier to remove it.
I installed my Adro w/o removal and it should slot in the exact same way.
I'm not religious, but y'all are doing the lords work 🤣
After the group buy wraps up and all the orders get shipped out, are you planning on continuing selling, or going to take more passes in refining the design? Just wondering because of your post in the other thread.
I'd love to pick one up...
Maybe the dude thinks it's like the newer BMWs where they have OTA updates and has some wishful thinking. I know a lot of folks get confused when vendors put in the disclaimer of "disable it or else your ECU will be relocked" and we don't have that...
I dunno, people are silly. Still funny...
Not sure if there's a good way to drain the coolant other than disconnect the bottom hose from the radiator. I haven't personally messed with the cooling system before.
For bleeding, this should work:

Just curious, have you tried paring to both the NBTEVO head unit and the aftermarket one?
That's what I did with my roadtop unit, never bothered setting audio to Aux and it seemed to work just fine.
I wonder if we talked with a manufacturer if they'd be willing to do something custom for the...
I've heard that a lot of folks say the stock plugs are pretty damn good and that you shouldn't bother swapping them, or gapping them differently unless your tuner says to.
Obviously if you suspect somethings wrong with them, 100% do it. It's a disposable item. But I'm pretty sure it's not worth...
It's possible, yeah, but it's going to be expensive and you'll probably be one of the first folks on the J29 platform to do it if you're going for OEM hardware. You'll need to do some coding, and maybe a VO update. Not sure.
This might also be of interest? Aftermarket, but might do what you...
Yeah, OP is counting on someone wanting new in box without the current wait time, which is a couple months iirc. Someone posted a thread here recently about wanting to buy one sooner than Pure's lead time.
I think it's a fair question to ask, as the time and effort to update the car is like... a half day adventure. Especially if we have to re-unlock, re-flash, and re-tune. Not really worth it if there are no noticable changes.
Something something if it ain't broke don't fix it? And you know...
100% take it to the shop, it's under warranty. If it's a bigger problem than just the injector, coil pack, or spark plug, you definitely don't want to pay for it. Not that you want to pay for any of that anyways...
You're running 91 Octane, right? Under what conditions did the car throw the...
Great little product, wish they had included a couple of extra bolts, washers, and spacers. Learned my lesson after dropping a bolt - always good to lay a microfiber cloth or towel at the bottom of the engine bay to stop it from bouncing around if you drop it.
100% worth it to start working on the car yourself, especially if you are mechanically inclined. B58 was the first motor I've touched and it's pretty straight forward as long as you don't try to take shortcuts. There are bigger things I'd definitely pay a shop to do - but a lot of the bolt ons...
That's a bit of a problem. Really need to know what state its in currently before you have things done to it.
Did you have a PPI done? Did ISTA flag if it was tuned? Take a look at the downpipe and see if you can spot any non factory markings to see if it's been swapped, its easy and super...
