Yokes don't make a lot of sense for road cars.
I would like to see something that gets rid of the doofy airbag in favor of something sportier like what’s in the GR Corolla:
Max is looking like the strong favorite to win tomorrow. Kind of wish the finances had worked out to have more Sprints this year.
Ironically, the good Sprint race performances by Carlos and Checo turned a sort of topsy-turvy running order (with Lando 3rd and Magnussen 4th) into the usual...
Lots of people here have powder coated their stock wheels. It should not set you back $1500–more like half to 2/3rds of that. There’s a big thread on it in the wheels section.
Yea I think that rosegold is going to look real nice with black wheels. Have to imagine that wrap was a pretty penny. The stock twotone wheels just make anything look worse. Still don’t understand why Toyota thought that was a good look.
Hopefully this doesn't devolve like the discussion in the other thread but no, I am not interested. My past five sports car were all manual so I have sufficient manual street cred, clout, etc. I have too much invested in this car, plus I honestly like the paddle shifter and having 8 gears...
Matte white will probably look like (or even be) BMW Frozen Brilliant White, which is really satin as opposed to matte. Could probably get a similar effect with a stealth PPF over absolute zero...
Might as well go with AA or AMS and save several hundred dollars plus no CEL. The build quality will be on par with HKS anyway. I kind of feel like if you're going to get a CEL that you can't easily tune out, you might as well just go catless.
I have an AA catted downpipe mated to a custom 3" single exit system with an HKS Carbon-Ti muffler. Just the downpipe is the best "exhaust" in terms of performance/sound/price, but I love the sound with the single exit system. The sound is similar to reNeglect's just less raspy since I have a...
Pretty sure they are installed incorrectly. I have had H&R for several months and thousands of miles with no noise, clunking, or issues. I do not have silencers either.
I'll let A90Shop comment but to me, the plus side for A90 is you get a US point of contact for customer service/defects, etc.
You also kind of know what you're getting from A90 whereas eBay and Aliexpress are just ripping pictures of actual Voltex wings as opposed to mounted versions of what...
I'm scratching my head here too, especially as (I think) you can code more aggressive shifting using bimmercode.
Something to firm up the stock dampers or maybe play around a bit with the LSD would be more useful to me.
I'll walk back what I said a little bit. RB should still be fine and all this will come out in the wash but what they really can't afford is any engine/gearbox penalties for Max. So far, they have been fortunate on that front. I can very easily see RB winning 5-6 races on the trot like they...
RB will be more than fine. There's still 20 races to go. If this was a 16 race season, there would some cause for concern. LeClerc was almost shockingly fast today... was not expecting him to be able to run away from Max at 3, 4, 5 tenths a lap seemingly at will with the car just bouncing...
Great lap by Charles. Glad to see him on pole. It looks a bit tricky at the limit but I think the RB will be fine on race pace. Feel badly for Carlos but I think he can recover to 4th given the pace advantage of the Ferrari. He just has his work cut out for him.
I am curious to see how much...
We are saying the same thing, I think. But yes, correct regarding wind tunnel time which I should’ve mentioned. Either way, it’s a two horse race. The bigger question is whether Ferrari can keep up with upgrades because we know RB will find substantial time as the season goes on.
