With or without tires? What condition are the wheels and tires in?
60-75% of what you paid would be a fair price, I think. Custom Work wheels like that, I gotta think at least $3K USD. You just have to be patient since not everyone is running around with like $4000 burning a hole in their...
Do we know the exact cutoff date for locking purposes? I am a 6/27/20 date per my ECU and have assumed I am SOL but figure I would confirm with the braintrust.
It’s a great atmosphere, right? I’ve been three times, including to the inaugural one, and every year, it’s been a lot of fun. I’ve been to races in a few other countries too but I think I like Austin the best.
I live in Virginia and I leave the OEM tires on year-round. My Supra is not my daily driver but I do take it to the office from time to time. For me, it wasn’t worth purchasing and mounting all-season tires when the car doesn’t see much driving below 40 degrees or inclement weather. Northern...
Does anyone have recommendations for a pad for street and occasional track use? CSG CP seems highly regarded but wondering what other options are worth considering. I don't mind a high-dust pad--more hoping for a nice bite and better feedback over the stock pads. But I am hoping for a pad...
I did tadda's active sound design deletion mod. Big thank you to you for the excellent write-up.
I have an AA catted downpipe and wow this car is quiet. I love that audio sounds noticeably better in sport mode though.
I just did this--thank you for this writeup!!! I got stuck at the same place others did, so it's helpful to read the whole thread first.
I do wish Toyota just made ASD an option accessible through the Vehicle Settings menu like other BMWs. :dunno:
That said, like others, I am kind of stunned...
Just noticed this. I know this works on G20, etc. but assume you also need corresponding caliper? Also wondering if you then also need the right master cylinder.
If you stay strictly with OEM sizing, I think your main options are A052 and Cup2s. If you're a bit flexible, a 265/285 may work on the stock wheels, which would let you try SC3Rs. The SC3R will be a superb track tire but may too be extreme for mixed use on both street and track.
Powerneedy will give you a CEL eventually. This happened to one of our members here, Powaup. To me, it doesn't make sense to pay extra for a catted downpipe that still gives you a check engine light.
So, to refresh on this, as of right now, post 6/20 ECUs (not just for the A90 but any car using the Bosch MG1 ECU, including G8x, G20, etc.) cannot be unlocked but they can be flashed by a Russia-based tuner, Femto? And any other tuner offering a "solution" is likely working with Femto to put...
Is there anything like a version document that lists the ECU update changes? I know we get 1) fullscreen Apple Carplay and 2) the braking update, but beyond that, everything else I've seen seems subjective.
I have the same set-up and it looks great in person. Before they went on, I was all worried it was gonna look too stretched out but they rolled the car out and I thought it looked .... not that different from stock. The Michelins seem to have a more rounded sidewall compared to say Pirellis or...
