I keep hoping the sprint races will be more exciting than they end up being. I was really hoping for more action than we had in Silverstone. I think you need pitstops to help mix things up.
Pretty much a guaranteed win for Max tomorrow barring a Lap 1 Turn 1 incident. The McLarens are...
FWIW, you could purchase a universal Greddy Ti muffler and have a shop fab up the rest of the system from the downpipe to the muffler. That might give you the look you're going for. When I was looking at this option, it would've been 10-15 hours of work, though I think it would be more for a...
I like how everything has shaken out. I guess I would've liked to see Gasly get a seat at one of the top teams but maybe there will be a spot in 2023--maybe Daniel's seat at McLaren?
Is Giovinazzi confirmed for 2022?
I've not yet done the recall but Koons in Arlington has one, or at least they did 6 months ago. He is not in every day though. It may be that he rotates across their Northern Virginia dealerships. I don't have any experience with them so maybe just go with H2O's recommendation.
I have this same lip and I love it. I think it gives the Supra the stronger "chin" OP is looking for. I'm also lowered on H&R and really don't scrape anywhere except backing out of my own driveway which is bitchassness but what can you do.
Everyone in this thread should check to see whether their car still has the shipping spacers installed. I could’ve sworn I didn’t but lo and behold when I installed my H&R springs, there they were. I can’t make an apples to apples comparison but the spacers do jack the front of the car up…
I thought certain trims for other Toyota models like the Corolla and 4Runner have standard matte black emblems. I’ve long wondered if they would fit on the Supra. I have been meaning to research that for months but haven’t gotten around to it. I recognize that if you spot a market need you...
Burger has been very coy with dyno graphs showing meaningful HP gains on pump gas for 2021 cars. Seems to show gains if you go with E50, etc. but pump gas... haven't seen much. I don't think a 2021 owner is going to see 100HP and 100 lb.-ft. gains on a pump gas map with the JB4. Not saying it...
You've got a lot of restraint. The Z06 would've tempted me too but you probably did the right thing in the end. 40K miles, four year-old sports car, some wear & tear, plus C8 Z06 right around the corner... that $70K-ish used car might fetch $45K in a year's time or so....
This used car bubble...
I should clarify that the more you open it up, the more the AA downpipe is noticeable--especially in Sport mode on more aggressive downshifts, so yeah my experience is basically same as yours there. Around-town driving and on the highway, I don't even notice it. To me, that's the perfect balance.
I have an AA catted downpipe and it is honestly hard to tell the difference, volume-wise, from stock. I doubt anyone unfamiliar with Supras would know there is anything different if they heard my car idling or at around-town revs.
That said, if even the CTS catted downpipe by itself is too...
I don't daily mine but in VA we have snow on the ground perhaps a week tops... I've had mine for almost a year and it is fine to drive, even with the OEM tires, in anything other than snow, sleet, and slush--which I probably wouldn't be driving in anyway with any car. That said, we also have...
Gorgeous shot. Comparing the silver and your black with the red, you can see what a big difference just a bit of lowering and a front lip makes for the A90. The silver and black look so much more purposeful.
Agree. The front fascia is one of those things that took on a life of its own because of internet commentators just like the BMW/Toyota collaboration on the Supra/Z4. People seem to get really, really triggered by that to the point of like needing therapy to move on from it?
